“dnelson describes it just perfect Lovely traditional English pub with a brewery inside Just perfect Had a fine time here together with the brewer and the queen behind the bar Lots of nice stories. Loved the beer as well Hope to get back About 20 min walk from the train station. Maybe 15.... Region #3 in Wales“

“Tiny one-room micropub located just by the oldest bridge in Bridgend, associated with Frank & Alfie's bottle shop up the road. 7 keg beers on tap, selection is a mixture of local breweries (Coach, Dog's Window, Crafty Devil) and regional/national (Polly's, DEYA, etc). Tasting flights of 3 thirds available for a very reasonable £6. They often do events, meet the brewer, tap takeovers, and so on.“

“Handily located on the main road just outside the town centre. 4 beers on cask and around 10 on keg, a few of their own plus local/regional guests. Very small selection of refrigerated cans too. Cask ales were well kept and prices reasonable. Would visit again“

“Traditional pub with a modern feel inside. Welcoming, 4 cask ales and 1 interesting keg beer. They’ve served 1143 different beers according to the board. 2 of the 3 beers I tried I had to add to Ratebeer. Recommended.“
