“A sprawling farm set way out off the highway between Victoria and Duncan. Spacious tasting room, a shop that sells oodles of cider and the menu's got a full restaurant fare available. Tasters are available with seasonals. Tours too. Hard to describe all that's in this place, it's definitely worth a stop if you're into cider.“

“2019-08-20. A large property with an orchard and various touristy tour options that we did not try today but presumably add to the interest if you arrive at a time when you can take advantage. We had hoped to eat but arrived too late in the day unfortunately, settling for a sausage stick at the bar. Good selection of ciders in a range of styles and flavours available in set flights or choose your own. The ciders we tried were mostly decent with a few less to my taste than others. We got a bottle of the dessert cider to take home. Worth a visit for sure but I'm not sure how far out of my way I would go. We were in the neighbourhood doing a short walk at the Kinsol trestle. “

“A stunning place with an expansive ground and a beautifully set up tasting room and bistro. Located about a 7-8 minute drive off the highway when going from Victoria to Nanaimo. They do tastings for $4-5 to sample 4 of their products in very small amounts. Their bottles are reasonably priced to take away. Super friendly staff who are passionate about their cider. Highly recommended stop.“

“A quick 15 minute drive off the highway when running north from Victoria to Nanaimo. Two large dogs run along side of the car to notify you, and the owners, that you are there. A self-guided, 15-minute tour is in store should you want to discover more about their production and harvesting methodes. I was amazed that the trees are still "hand-shaken" to get the fruit off? Interesting. The sample sizes are VERY small (about 1 oz) and the glasses are deep so its sometimes difficult to get the aroma off their product. I was baffled by their reluctance to open the Somerset cider??? RE-VISIT They now have a restaurant and serve food. Its expensive and fairly small portions. I had the Steak Sandwich for $13. Oddly you can order their cider pairings for double the price in the resto??? The Somerset is $25 at the restaurant while 20 feet away one can buy the same bottle for $16.60.“

“Was nice visiting a cidery for a change. They make about 8 different ciders that are free for sampling. No food, but the grounds are a nice place to bring a lunch and enjoy the scenery. The service is nice but they do a disservice to their product by serving in opaque glassware and serving it very warm. The cider here is quite good, though.“
