“An odd place in the middle of downtown, but with free parking. Part pub, part sports bar and part diner. Only 2 of their beers but a few others, not really crafty though. Beer is just OK and service is pleasant. Food is decent pub food and prices are average. Not worth a specific trip.“

“Very small LCBO in downtown of Brampton. Selection was rather bad. Store was dated and it seemed that it was stuck in the 80s. Don’t waste time going there.“

“I suppose I may be biased as it’s located not too far from my residence but the household beer is above average with a decent alternative selection. Food is great and their late night munchies always seem to do it for me. The interior is quite a sight; the pub was built in an old mill (hence the name of their household lager). Very homy; a place to go to wind down, watch the game, or chat with buddies about nonsense.“

“cheap on thursdays, and the beer selection has gotten alot better since i started going here. the bar owner will get your beer in, if he doesn’t have it. and the kicker is that they serve Chinese food (owner is asian).. a nice change from deep fried wings (though they have good wings too). place looks pretty crappy though LOL“

“Best LCBO in all of Peel, including Mississauga, to my knowledge. Great selection and they carry ALL the seasonals.“

“Visited late on a Sunday September afternoon, having spent the weekend in the Niagara region -- a little tough to find as it’s in the back of the building. A sprawling, spacious pub with a long bar along one wall, a mezzanine with couches, and wooden tables, pillars, and chairs throughout. The music playing was fun (Madonna) but we were watching the football game on one of the many sports flat screens. We tried the two house beers, Light and Old Mill, but were suspicious about what was being poured and couldn’t ask anyone. Chicken fingers were good though slightly over-cooked, ribs & wing combo was fine. Service was good. It’s a clean, friendly, sports bar environment -- it’s just not a beer haven.“

“Bit hard to find as the street address is not where it actually is, its sort of a laneway entrance in behind Queen St. Atmosphere is interesting, main area is sports bar meets pub, a pub lounge area by the stairs is cozy, and a small diner like/family restaurant area. TVs in the bar area had the football game(s) on on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Food was okay, decent pub grub. Service was friendly. Okay spot, not really a destination per se.“

“Decent enough selection of beers that I surprisingly don’t see at the larger LCBO’s in the area. They carry all of the delicious Unibroue beers (Maudite, Fin du Monde, Blanche de Chambly and so on) so it is a frequent stop of mine.“

“Hey, it’s my local pub so I gotta support it. Good home-made food, in-house made Chinese food, and regular pub grub. Hardly a fancy place or anything like that but theres a good amount of TV’s and the people are friendly. Also plays all the UFC events on which nights the bar is standing room only... Come on down and we’ll have a pint Cheers!“

“Sports bar brewpub. House beer is acceptable and they have a few good imports. As Brampton goes, this is the shit, but it's not worth a special trip out there.“
