“Place is nice and catchy, next to an overpass off Ritson. Nice taproom, loads of merchandise, but given covid, no taps or samplers. Cans only which are marked up 100% for consumption on premise. The sour I tried was plain and boring.“

“Visited on a Friday afternoon in July 2018. Rock music playing in the background but quiet overall and friendly service. Delicious BBQ options for food - a pulled pork sandwich and brisket sandwich, the sides were just OK. Accidentally sent my beer flying with my broken hand in a cast but the waitress was nice about it and replaced it for us. An interesting selection of craft beer on tap. Not often passing through this area but would return for the BBQ alone!“

“2018-07-27. Nice enough spot it has sort of a taverny country restaurant feel to the space, which seems well suited to the space. In contrast to that they have an electronic beer list with 12+ taps. Friendly server. I was tired so opted for the brisket sandwich lunch combo with a Coke for caffeine and a small pour of Rouge River despite a pretty solid tap selection. Bottle fridge had pretty decent respresentation of GTA breweries as well. Food was decent. The meat (brisket and pulled pork) was very good, the sauces and the buns pretty average. The sides were decent, corn bread was a larger size than expected and tasty but slightly less rich than some other places. Beans were very good. We enjoyed our visit but if I return I would probably skip the sandwich in favour of a meat platter. Worth a visit if you are in town. “

“A new chain for Oshawa that opened in December of 2015. Always has a local tap dedicated to a local brewer and you can find something worth drinking. I’m not a fan of the girls being forced to wear extra short skirts as i’m there for the beer not the servers. Food is pricey for the quality of it (tastes like pre-made frozen fries and burgers etc). They do have beer specials everyday so that is a bonus.“

“As far as I know this particular location is just takeout. No beer. Downtown is great.“

“Downtown, in what used to be the nasty part of downtown. Much nicer since the arena went in. Pretty spartan storefront and inside, but the sidewalk patio is beautiful. Not a huge selection, but they had some solid and uncommon Ontario micros on tap. I’m told they often have a cask as well. Service was rather slow, but the poor girl seemed to be working alone. Food (southern BBQ) selection was fairly meagre, but what they have is excellent. This place is much needed in the ’shwa.“

“Looks like there are Buster Rhino’s locations in Whitby and two in Oshawa. This place is great! BBQ food and meat with a decent selection of craft and local beer makes this place a hit. There is a lack of veggies on the menu but that is what this place is dedicated to...BBQ me some meat! Friendly staff and the location I went to had maybe 10 taps or so. The place feels like a restaurant chain but the staff told me it is a local owner who started the 3 restaurants. i’ll be back whenever I’m in the area, for sure!“
