78 /100 Four Dogs Wine & Spirits (Beer Store) 350 REED ST Pretty large liquor store with 6 or 7 beer fridges. Several of them are for singles only. Some interesting brews like Casey, Fremont B-Bomb, Crooked Stave etc. Was a bit disappointed I couln't find the beer listed on their Untappd menu like Rusty Nail. Anyway quite good shop for a small town, worth checking out even if you're just passing by. |
76 /100 371 MARKET STREET Visited later evening on a Friday with a friend who lives right around the corner. Shiny new brewery in the shiny new Basalt town area. I really liked the design of this place, with a long bar at the front of the room, plenty of seating in the room and a nice open feel that connects to the outdoor sidewalk patio. Beer selection is 9 house beers, available as full pours, tasters or 32 oz crowlers to go. I had already eaten, though the food smelled good. Service was super friendly, this already has a nice neighborhood feel going. 76 = *** (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time) I only use the total score, not the component parts. |
