“Spotted this place right off US-160, and ducked in. Old western saloon ambiance, mixed with a good bit of dive bar. The servers were friendly, quick, and easy-going. They had 4 house beers listed on their menu, but the waitress had to explain that two had kicked, and they had another on, so that brings us up to a grand total of 3 house beers on tap, with 2 other craft beers on. The peanuts on the tables were welcome, although we didn’t try any other food, and peanuts don’t merit a food mark. I ordered a "flight" of two of the house beers, and went to pay, only to discover that the tasters (easily 4 oz.) were free. We were in a hurry, and I didn’t want to order a pint, so I tipped very well, and left. Be advised, though, that they will give samples generously, and you should be prepared to actually buy something (and not be a jerk and take their free beer and run, like me).“

“Fun little place! Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the pub itself is quite charming. Neat, well laid out, and a wall of windows. There’s a "dining room" with larger tables for families and whatever. No annoying TV or blaring hiphop. The flight was a whopping 13 beers (normally 14!with cask ale), ranging from solid to exceptional. We ordered some apps- soft pretzel and fries with pulled pork- both delicious. The fries were easily ample enough to be a meal. I’d definitely return if I were in the area. Update: additional notes: the hoppier/ipas were very good, as was the bock. The chili beer was perhaps the best I’ve ever had, all the flavor without the tongue-blistering heat of other guys’ beer. The peanutbutter stout is a crazy in-yo-face love-it-or-hate-it beer.“

“This is a nice little brew pub with some interesting items on offer. Free peanuts on every table and great desserts.“

“This place is really fun to drop in to when you are in Pagosa Springs. The best of the 3 brew pubs in my opinion. The food is awesome as well. The salmon fish and chips were a real highlight.“

“This is a fun little brew pub in walking distance of the hot springs. The beer was decent - I would rank it 2nd in town after Pagosa Brewing co. The food was excellent and creative. We had beer brined hard-boiled eggs and some nachos. The later is one of the best plates of nacho’s i have had.“

“While on summer vacation with GF, we invited our hosts in Pagosa to try some brews at this place. We had just taken a six-mile hike in the mountains and NEEDED a drink. This place is set up like a biergarten with a large outdoor area with cheap plastic chairs and sawdust 7 wood chips on the ground. It was a warm day, but they had an IPA, which made the trip worthwhile. Turned our friends onto the IPA, which I’m happy for although they are in their sixties they were willing to try different brews. The brew was good and reasonably priced. If we get to come back during ski season, I’ll definitely be back.“

“Stopped in here two nights in a row while skiing at Wolf Creek. Big outdoor seating area when you first walk up and the staff is pretty nice. Ordered up some 10 beer samplers and was seated within 20 minutes. Food was pretty tasty and the generous sampler combined with the high altitude will have you in good spirits in no time. A little bit pricy and the food portions are somewhat small (excluding the pizza) but I enjoyed myself and the beers were decent.“

“OK! So this pub has a really werid set up! The tasting room is small like 4 tables and a bar. But it has a large courtyard , really nice in the summer but not in the winter. Also, menu is limited and your food is prepared in trailer out inthe courtyard -very odd. We have NEVER had good service here-ever. The owner is too busy to even speak to customer.“

“Great outdoor seating area with radiant heaters at tented tables, multiple fire pits and a couple of food service trailers. Indoors is nice little bar and restaurant area with a cozy-lodge look and feel. Good house beer selection with a variety of ales and a few lagers on 10 taps. Nice selection of food: sandwiches, burgers and house-made pizza, with some other steak and fish selections. Pizza was OK, not great. Service seemed good except for our waiter, who was friendly enough, but seemed to have been sampling the taps all day. Overall this is the only game in town, but has a great ambiance and pretty good food and beer. A must if you are within 25 miles of the place.“

“One of my favorite brewpubs! Not a huge place, but nestled into a small mountain community, it is filled with friendly people and great beers! They make all their own brews, from pale ales and wheats to porters and stouts, all top notch. They even brew their own root beer for the young ones. Food is also very good, menu goes well with the brews. There is also a large outdoor beer garden where you can sit out under an evergreen an enjoy yourself in the fresh mountain air. A+ place!“
