72 /100 11147 SHORE RD An amazing location looking out on the Northumberland Strait. A small tasting room but you are able to sit out side and enjoy the scenery. Service was good but the selection is minimal for beer focused folk. No food on site but prices were overall cheap. Well worth a stop if not particularly a beer location. |
70 /100 11147 SHORE RD Visited in Aug-2011. Very friendly staff, ready to help with questions and samples. Location is very scenic and if you have the time, consider taking a lovely walk around the grounds and surrounding area. Selection for beer geeks is limited to a couple meads/ciders, but try the wine and stay for a while. It’s a lovely spot. (5/10/8/NA/9/12) 70 |
68 /100 11147 SHORE RD Gorgeous location on the water, it is worth a walk around the property. Staff is quite friendly and many of the wines are worth trying. Overall it is well worth a stop if you are in the area, but if you just want to pick up some of their products you can find many of them at the PEI Liquor stores. |
62 /100 11147 SHORE RD Rossignol Winery is on a beautiful estate on a rolling hill facing the Northumberland Strait. Really scenic. The location is different than what the website says; the mailing address is Murray River, farther along Route 4, but the winery is closer to Little Sands along Route 4. Nice scenic lighthouse drive in between. The rustic building has a small bottle shop and tasting room. The selection for beer geeks is limited to the Blackberry Mead and Iced Blossom (ice cider), but there are plenty of their wines, as well. They tend to be a little out of the box with their wines, doing a lot of other fruits like cranberry, blueberry, strawberry rhubarb, maple, and others. The people are about as friendly as can be. Definitely worth a stop if you visit the island, and be sure to try more than just the mead and apple wine. |
50 /100 11147 SHORE RD A gorgeous property that’s a pretty short drive from the NS/PEI ferry. A selection of locally made baked goods are also available at the winery tasting room. More of a winery than anything else, but the blackberry mead is pretty decent. I didn’t eat at the attached restaurant, but it’s a very picturesque spot. |
