“Visited on December 19, 2018, in the afternoon. Laval's first brewpub (not counting Les 3 Brasseurs), located in Pont-Viau in a former (what I've heard) shaddy sports bar, there is some parking in front and on the side of the place. From the outside it does not look much, gray and generic, but the inside bright and cosy. The decor is a half 60's, half 2010's, the brewpub is divided in two sections, the main one with the square bar and a smaller next to the brewery and windows, they also have a terrasse. They have 5 of their own on tap, plus a bunch of invites from known and lesser known Quebec breweries. I had four 4 oz tasters for $9, quite solid for a less than a mouth old brewery. The food looks interesting, not your typical pub faire. Great friendly staff. They just set the bar very high for the second brewpub in Laval, if it ever happens!“

“A nice place, modern yet warm, in the Centropolis strip mall complex. Decent bottle and tap selection with a good food menu, nice specials during the week, 50¢ wings starting at 4pm, 4 3onces samples for 8$. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of free parking.“

“This place besides being a grocery store has a very good selection of beers from microbreweries from Québec. The prices are o.k.,but it is nice to do your grocery shoping at the same time as selecting a few good to great beersI have been here more then once and will go again.“

“The food and the ambiance make this place. If they could offer a better beer selection and up their service game a tad, it would be a sure fire winner.“

“Got in to town late so we really didn’t get the best experience but this place has nice atmosphere and a decent tap selection. Was too late to order any chow.“

“I visited several times the supermarket, but it is only this year that Quital have a good selection of microbreweries. Although not as varied with rarities as La Saucisserie BAM not far from them, still for a big store it’s not bad. With Dieu du Ciel, Charlevoix, Les Trois Mousquetaires and Brasseurs Illimités to name a few (plus Brugel?!). A plus is you can by singles and the section for theis beers are hard to miss, just before the check out. Saucisserie BAM will always be my first stop for beer, but if I want something good and easy to get, I won’t say no to this place.“

“Pretty big place -- really lots of room. WAY TOO NOISY, whether it’s the crowd (which was surprisingly decent for Laval) or the music or the band that was playing. Service was awesome, though I must admit that we were served by the beer specialist. I could have had returned a beer I ordered (due to lack of carbonation) but decided not to do so after the said beer specialist acknowledged that the brew was really too flat to be served. 25-30 beers on tap, plus some bottles (and it was nice to see some beers from Le Mitan as well). The tasting format was good bang for the buck; however, the food seemed really pricey (to me, anyways), and what I tasted wasn’t all that great. Go there for the beer, but just make sure you eat before... and yhat you didn’t forgot your earplugs at home. Beer-wise, it’s rather similar to the Vices Versa (without casks, though), so I’d suggest AGAINst going there if the Vices Versa is closer, but otherwise, a pretty good place, in a somewhat unsuspecting setting.“

“Cool place, the bar is huge. If I remember well there are 32 taps!! The beer selection in very wide and for all tastes. I ate the ’bavette de boeuf’ it’s a must!! Our waiter was Ian and he was so nice. The beer prices were quite ok, you have to remember that this is not a tavern in which you drink cheap beers. Very cool place to discover!!“

“Visited for the first time December 15, 2011. This is their second restaurant, the other is in Joliette that I have not visited, so I can not compare them together. It’s a upscale looking place, like most of the other restaurants in this area, it has a very long bar, not that many tables but alot of seating. They have a very good selection of Quebec micros in bottles and on tap, but the taps are pricy. I haven’t had any food yet, but it is a small menu and also pricy. This is one the two best beer place in Laval, but it is not worth the trip if you have something equal or better near you, this place is great for locals or people going to the Colossus movie theatre nearby.“

“This is 3 blocks from my house and i hate to have to go there. They do not have a clue about beer, they just carried on where the past owners had left off. lots of dusty old beers and most of the worst beers made in Quebec are available.DO NOT go out of your way to get here. go to Montreal to get fresh and newer products.“

“This depanneur changed hands three times in the past years, and the beer selection went down. before you were able to find anything, now, you find just the average micros and not the interesting stuff, they are loosing it“

“This 3 Brasseurs is very big and spacious.Nice terrasse, the service is fast and pleasant. The beers are like all the 3 Brasseurs good but not great, but then this is the only place in Laval you can get a decent beer. The food is good and if you sit at the bar the conversation is very pleasant.“

“Visited for the first time on May 11, 2010, at night. Just across of the Colossus movie theatre, it’s the only brewpub in this city and probably the only good beer distination in Laval, en this is not saying much. As usual, the beers are average and the food is good, but the place it self is verry spacious. The place feels more like a night club then your typical L3B found in Montreal, but Centropolis is a hot spot in Laval, there was a feeling of pretentious in the air, lucky for me the bartender was not. I would not minde going back for a beer after a movie!“

“This is the SAQ that I frequent the most, although there are others closer to home. This store has all (most) the beers available in the SAQ. But it’s like almost every other shop, where their beers are in the back of the store, but the ciders are at the entrance.“

“They’re loosing it constantly. They are not opened to new stuff anymore. They have awful beers that have been on the tablets for the past years (be careful). I think there is a new chinese ownership. Anyway, in Laval, it is still a decent place to buy your big micro beers grocery stores usually don’t have (DDC, 3 Mousquetaires, Charlevoix) at a reasonable price. I prefer to go in BDF as the beer offering is more carefuly selected...“

“Clean place, but small. And the owner always look at me strangely. And the little girl who is probably 3 years younger that me keeps on asking me my I.D. even if I come often. So I can’t really say I like that service. They have a good selection of Quebec micro ans seasonal beer. And since its in my city, well that’s the place I go to when i want some new beers!“

“I concur what has been said. This looks like nothing from the outside, but inside, it's very clean and well disposed, rather easy to find what you're looking for and basically pretty much any bottle available in Quebec besides (when I went anyway) Charlevoix brewery. I assume the staff is not so knowledgeable and helpful though from what I've seen.“

“If this is what the typical convenience store is like in Montreal, I'm moving! Quantities of St. Ambroise Vintage 2001, for $5; large, large selection of Quebec micros including Unibroue & McAuslan of course, but also Bieropholie, Schoune, La Barberie, etc etc. I don't have a lot of experience buying at stores in the Montreal area yet, but prices seem good and I was told that the Vintage Ale was $2 cheaper here than at a larger store. Out of the way, would be very easy to miss (best to email expert MartinT first), but a paradise for the Quebec beerhunter.“

“Very good beer store for Quebec, the northern Montreal alternative to Joannette’s. Almost the same selection, save a few rarities that only Joannette seems to have. Owner might throw in a complimentary glass if he is in the mood. By far, the best bottle shop north of the metropolis.“
