V & B Blois (Beer Store)
“Bottle shop / bar on the outskirts of Blois nestled amongst large DIY chain stores etc.. so best accessible by car. It's worth it though, as this definitely has the best selection of beer in the area. Half the shop is dedicated to bottled beer, the other half quite a busy bar for this Tuesday evening. Emphasis seemed to be on Belgian beer taking up the lions share of floor / shelf space, although being close to October there was a decent amount of German festbeer at good prices. Directly to your left on entry there's a wall dedicated to French 'artisan beer' covering most modern 'craft styles' from independent breweries throughout France. Elsewhere you'll find Quebec, Irish, Spanish, UK, a small amount of American beer and even a Reunion Island tick. The bar side I didn't really look at much, but there was around 10 beers on draft, plus a couple of fridges underneath the counter on the bottle side of the shop where you can take what you want and drink in, or out as there's some seats outside. I think if you were staying nearby, you'd be daft not to check this out. Open til 8pm I think, whereas the Southern V&B branch has more limited opening hours.“

"M" Pub (Bar)
“Around 15 bottles, some belgian classics, maybe a couple of industrial locals. Nice atmosphere, chill-out music.“
