“Cozy little bar. Lively locals who didn't even know they were in Derbyshire (this could be considered a suburb of Nottingham, to be fair, and even has a Nottingham postcode) were an absolute scream, and couldn't believe the task we'd set ourselves - they even gave us a pub hoody (with no hood) and instagrammed us as they wished us good luck for the rest of the trip. Sampler of thirds caused confusion, we would have liked more (a fourth), but such an order was unsatisfiable. Quality house real ales though, worth spending longer and having them all. Bants guaranteed! Grand County Tour #7: Derbyshire, 3 thirds of real ale, 19:30-19:44“

“Q: How many beers do you get if you order four three thirds?
A: 5 minutes of discussion, 15 minutes of laugh and three beers.
Nice little place. On wednesday night gang of locals was sitting around the bar having a nice chat while we bumped in. Nice folk. Made 'em discuss are we in Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire. One old local lad said " you are barely in Nots 'cause that bridge 50y that way is the border. We were glad to hear that. Will visit again!“
