50 /100 Pyne Arms (Bar) PYNE ARMS, Occupying the inside bend in the small road running through the dispersed village of East Down, its a pub with whitewashed walls. The entrance faces the inside of the bend and is reached through a small flagged patio area with several tables. Inside it’s a traditional pub, with low lighting, soft furnishing and wooden furniture. It’s all open plan with a low ceiling and a wood burning fire in the middle of a small part wall in one corner. The bar against the back wall has a disappointing selection, with two local ales from Exmoor Brewery, both regulars and both nationally available. Food is served here and there’s a big car park behind the pub. |
62 /100 Pyne Arms (Bar) PYNE ARMS, Fabulous country pub with 2 locally brewed ales on tap plus some ciders. |
