Cove (Bar)
“Adjoining the St Austell pub just above the beach amongst only a few buildings below the hotel, which is the most imposing building in this fishing village turned tourist hot-spot. A UK craft beer award winner in a rural category, the five keg ales complimenting two cask ales wasn't overly impressive on my visit. The beer paddle for the guest keg was limited to two regular Beavertown brews and Wild Beer's bibble. The cask ales were regulars from Otter brewer and Powderkeg, with a couple of local keg ciders available (one also from Otter). The service area is small, there's no where to sit in this part, although given it was hot and sunny at the end of the summer myself and my partner sat outside anyhow. The upstairs area is where you go for pizza, there's an outside deck area here too. Its taps are backed up with some bottle options.“

Cove (Bar)
“A small informal bar in Hope Cove. Food and friendly service, but the reason for adding was that the manager seemed to have an inclination towards cask and craft beers generally. And this isn’t that common in Devon, from what I’ve experienced. A couple of regular local beers as well as some interesting offerings from some of the UK’s top craft brewers. Worth a visit if you’re in the area. We ate at the hotel next door.“
