“I haven’t been to the beer festival but I couldn’t recommend this pub myself. A limited beer selection and not the best location. We didn’t stick around because someone was having a breakfast barf on the pavement while we were drinking.“

“Very pretty timber framed 15th Century pub next door to a pretty old Chuch in the award winning village of Coggleshall, Essex. Inside manages to be both olde worlde and a little poky at the same time! The beers inside are very standard fayre. The pub is worth a rate for the occasional mini beers fests held in the beer garden. Up to 15 real alese served direct from the kegs in the shed next the beer garden. Mostly local Essex brews plus a few from further afield. Definitely worth checking out when there is a beer fest on - phone ahead to check first.“
