“Wonderful 16th century inn which I have been going to for over 23 years. Always a good beer selection mostly on stillage, with 4 or 5 real ales always available often from Crouch Vale but quite varied but expect to pay a little more than usual. Food is very good if a little expensive however look out for the Sunday lunch deal but book early. Friendly staff and landlady. Well behaved children welcome in the restaurant and Dog bar but not main bar area. Recently expanded beer garden can be busy in the summer. Just a special old pub. I love it.“
