“Очень странное место по интерьеру. Розовые кресла как в какой нибудь барби кафешке в Неваде, по началу вообще не раслабляет душу, что обязан делать паб. По выбору пива средне, есть Бельгия топовая и немного драфта, иногда можно встретить редкий стиль, а так скучная классика. Радует что чисто и спокойно.“

“A classic British pub with many qualities. Nice view over River Thames from its balcony outside. Two wooden main rooms inside, and a pub snug in one of its corners. More seating downstairs. Four cask ales including Fullers Red Fox and ESB at our stay, guest ales from Beavertown and Dark Star, among others. Often rather touristy and crowded. Dove was included in our anniversary trip autumn '23 revisiting our best London Pubs from 2003-2006. (Visited with Finn, 03.10.2023).“

“This ex-Draft House pub, now in BrewDog hands, is quite a different experience from both its previous incarnation and other pubs in the BrewDog chain. It’s an intimate venue, very popular on the weekend, slightly quaint interior. The beer is really nothing to write home about. About 10 taps but there were some duplications and I could have only had about two ticks: a sour from Siren and a Helles from Pillars. The BrewDog beers on tap were their less interesting core beers (Lost Lager, Punk). The slightly more interesting can fridge behind the bar was takeaway only. Disinterested service, got my drink wrong. I feel like I’m damning with faint praise, I mean it’s just about fine. But with so many choices in London, this wouldn’t be on my list.“

“Lovely little beer bar, feels like a US-style burger joint. I haven't been to a CBC in a while and I feel like they're a little less pro.jnenet of the London beer scene these days. This bar had some great beers but was missing the rows and rows and crazy stuff that I used to find in Covent Garden and Clerkenwell. No matter: quanlity outstrips quality any day and there's loads to get stuck into here with the 3 cask, 10+ keg and many bottles and cans. Give this place some love.“

“Funky spot, quite colourful. Located just a few paces from the tube station entrance. Good selection. Six casks, around 16 kegs, a couple dozen bottles. Friendly service. Average pricing. A very good option for the area, which I don’t think has many craft beer options. This pub is about a 2-minute walk from the Eventim Apollo, so handy in that respect as well. Worth checking out.“

“(Visited July 2019) New addition to the Craft Beer Co empire, located in a shopping mall close to to Hammersmith metro. Fairly spacious, with colourful interior in mint green and pink. Six cask beers andaround 20 keg beers, the expected variety and quality for a Craft pub. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good adition to an area mainly dominated by Fullers pubs. Well worth a visit.“

“Visited on 19th June 2019. Situated pretty much next to the rear entrance to Hammersmith tube station and pretty much across the road from the Apollo is this place. The look of the place is pretty stunning with a colour and neon lighting scheme that grabs you. Inside it's an L-shaped venue in a single room, pink 50s diner style seating around and plenty of room. It's brand new and very smart. Beer range is excellent with a great mix of cask and keg beers from all over the UK and Europe plus a couple of US beers on tap and in bottles. Prices good. Service good. Thirds available. Definitely a new highlight in Hammersmith and a place I'd definitely revisit“

“By far the best beer destination in and around Hammersmith. 6 handpumps and approx. 20 keg lines plus a large fridge of bottles and cans. Not sure about the decor but a pleasant pub in which to enjoy good beers. In the shopping centre above the Piccadilly and Distrct line station, beneath the elevated bus station.“

“Visited on the opening night of 9th May 2019. Former Greene King house in Broadway shopping centre, converted into a lively, vibrant and individuality styled venue. The usual ingredients of a broad range of cask, keg, bottle and can are augmented by an in-house kitchen offering a fine selection of burgers with an offering of fries and salads to accompany them. A lot of effort has gone into decorative detail, from the tessellated hexagonal ceiling mirrors to the similarly-interlocked tri-tone floor tiles. The walls are tiled from floor to ceiling and although lit by Led and neon, the vibe remains welcoming. Well done Martin, Peter, Jon H and the team, wishing you a success with this latest addition to your business.“

“With a dark wood and mirrored interior and nice views over the River Thames and Hammersmith Bridge, it a popular place for locals. There are nine tap and four cask beers available was well as wines and spirits. The craft beers listed are from Camden (2), Wimbledon (1), Brew Dog (1), and Portobello (1). Pub style food (fish & chips, pies) is available at reasonable prices.“

“A rowers pub on the banks of ths River Thames with views of Hamnersmith Bridge and two old wooden sculls hanging from the ceiling as well as dark wooden interior and mirrored walls. There are seven taps and four cask all of which are main stream beers/real ales except one which is a Reunion Ales craft. There is also one cyder as well as spirits and wines. Service is freindly while prices are about £5/pint. Nice over looking the Thames.“

“A small old-style English pub with exposed black beams in the low ceilings and interesting paraphanilia on the walls. Being near winter it was quite crowded indoors with lots of locals enjoying the warmth of the gas fire. The staff are friendly and possessed good knowledge of the beers. There are four cask and four tap beers available as well as newly introduced flights of three, all at decent prices. A visit to London's smallest bar was a highlight.“

“Dropped in here pre-GBBF as the Fuller's pub down the road was rammed. Smallish pub, which seems to concentrate on being gastro: however they do not mind drinkers, with the rear of the pub being the 'restaurant' area. Well presented and clean. Looks like they have two guests casks (St Austell Odd Job and another I'd already ticked) plus St Austell Tribute on permanently. I note from the website that there's a By The Horns cask on today. Then 8 standard kegs including some Camdens and Kozel. Not necessarily a place for the experienced ticker, but I had my first ticks from Brixton, and it's a nice relaxed place for a drink. Less than £5 a bottle is OK in London, I guess.Wasn't particularly busy, a couple of pairs of drinkers at the front and a load of Mums with prams at the back. Staff were friendly and chatty. Not a go to place but certainly a place to drop into if you're in the area and are not fussed about ticks.“

“One of the better JD Wetherspoon pubs, the cask beer is rarely less than good and often both excellent and diverse. There’s also a surprisingly good range of bottled and canned beers, including many from London-area breweries (eg. Cronx, Pressure Drop, Wimbledon, Windsor & Eton) and several relative rarities. It’s a modern-build pub, so a bit lacking in ambiance, but there is plenty of space and lots of local history displayed on the walls. The usual JDW food menu, not inspiring but competent and reasonably priced.“

“Lovely old Thames side pub. Visited on a scorching 1st of July. Terrace by the river wedged so sat in the inside sauna. Lots of wood in the venue and a smallish bar. Lots if low ceilings. “A very attractive Nicholson’s pub at the end of King Street and close to both tube stations. It exudes understated Edwardian elegance, with lots of polished wood, flocked wallpaper and a glassed in shelf over the bar containing beer books which the staff are happy to lend to any customers wanting some reading material. There are plaques to William Morris and other local luminaries upstairs on the way to a second bar and restaurant. They have ten hand pumps with a reasonable selection of regulars and guest beers. When I chose the Truman’s Runner the barman told me he’d recently been to the new Truman’s brewery to try all their beers. He said they were too hoppy at first but they’ve adjusted their recipes and all are very good now. He seemed to think I was mad when I said I didn’t think there was such a thing as a beer that was too hoppy! (Visited 6 August 2014).“

“A nice comfortable pub that gives generous discounts to CAMRA members. Beer selection varies though favouring micro breweries. Unfortunately they insist on gravity dispense for most ales so usually are very flat or tired. This place would get better ratings and custom if they got rid of the stillage and dispensed through hand pumps. Food looked of good quality. Yes the bottled choice has diminished and keg wise not always interesting. Got so much potential and could do better. Buses 94 and 237 stop right outside.“

“Has a wonderful old-world appeal to it from whatever direction you approach it from, the cobbled alley entrance is only the start of this Fullers pub with plenty of charm. It’s location on the river is faultless with great view of the Hammersmith bend and the public school grounds on the other bank. It’s also tidal here so the view constantly changes. If you don’t sit on the terrace watching the river go by then the old world charm is not lost on the interior and it’s a fine place to try the latest and regular Fullers brews.“

“Historic riverside pub that still uses a spartan wooden style furnishing and furniture that is apt for the centuries old inn that this is. The building has two floors, the upper one also doubles as a function room that can be hired, and if you can get to use it the very small terrace offers fantastic views across the still wide Thames and of the Hammersmith Bridge which is also historic enough now not to be able to transport large vehicles across it due to its frailty. This is prime boat race territory with rowers clubs just a stones throw away from here. Lagers and ales occupy about the same amount of room at the bar. Food is served.“

“A short walk south of the flyover down Fulham Palace Road, this pub is thoroughly modern in approach but with a great emphasis on period style furniture that gives it appeal and its look. There’s equally a good garden area to its rear and side that makes it relatively shielded from the traffic on the main road the pub faces. Lagers and ales are available at the bar and food is also served.“

“I first went into this place when it was known as Edwards Bar and was not much to shout about, although lively weekend entertainment could be had. It was refurbished at the end of the 2000’s by Nicholson’s who have made this place pretty, convivial and with a better ale selection than the Wetherspoon next door.“

“Update 15/06/13. First time I’ve popped in this year. Was hoping for some of their own beers but nothing doing. If anything the selection has gone down with less beer available from stillage and the quality of the beer on cask is once again debatable in the case of one or two I tried. I also think the bottle selection has gone down. A slight backward step in my opinion. Original score of 3/8/11/NA/8/12 = 68 revised to the new totals. Have visited 4 or 5 times since it opened towards the end of 2011. Nice old corner boozer and well furnished. Decent size however it has always been fairly empty on my visits. Decent range of local (largely home counties) cask and gravity dispense. A few craft tap offerings (have seen a few Fordhams from the US and also Brew Dog on) and a solid enough bottled selection from the UK, US and Belgium - but nothing rare in this respect. Have had one or two pints here from both Cask and Gravity that were past their best. More quality control needed! CAMRA discount 25p - half; 50p pint (as per the Bree) still available on my last visit in Jul ’12.“

“Visited on Saturday 15/06/13 - twice in between rain showers at Queens! Grand old Victoriana boozer sympathetically restored with bars and seating both down and upstairs linked by a grand staircase with access from both sides. Place was pretty quiet on my first visit around 2pm, but the place had really filled out by visit no.2 at 4.30pm and we bagged the last table downstairs. 10 cask beers from a range of micros that you see dotted about town, Wharfebank, Adnams, Ilkely, Butcombe and Rudgate were all represented. As Jack touched on in his review, condition of a couple I tried were not tip top, others were fine. I’d never been in here before today - I think it used to be a real shit hole pre - refurb. In between the 2 tube stations literally 2 minutes from either. I’d definately hit this place over any of the others in central Hammersmith.“

“Spoons between the 2 Hammersmith tube stations (was a Lloyds when I first visited some years back). Average spoons - daylight at either end but still dark. Couple of guests usually on offer on top of the Ruddlesabbotblurgh! Update: 15/06/13. 3 guests all from Itchen Valley, the Hampshire Rose was on good form. Clientele seems to be people passing through and meeting up for a night out in Hammersmith, no sense of local feel as per most spoons, a few old man local drinkers buying 2 pints of bitter at a time! I normally walk down the river a little to the Dove (Fullers) in preference if I have time to kill but if you’re pushed for time this is convenient for the tube but I’d hit the Swan (Nicholsons) next door as a first choice every time. Average Spoons fayre.“

“Pretty bizarre Fullers pub located within stumbling distance of Hammersmith station. This place seems to do big business in food. There’s a large Thai restaurant at the back of the pub, sort of like the famous Churchill Arms in Kensington. I didn’t eat, but the food smelled inviting. Otherwise, the ambiance is strange. There’s a massive mirror on the ceiling. A TV was showing extreme sports. Bright lighting. The selection was sort of disappointing. I came in looking for Fullers seasonals and was met with a choice between ESB and London Pride. They do have space for more cask offerings, so perhaps some stuff had recently kicked. All the usual bottles were available. There was loads of Brewers Reserve #2 on offer for some reason. The value was fine. The ESB was in good condition. Overall, this area of London is awash with Fullers pubs. This one isn’t a standout. Perhaps this might be a spot to try out the Thai food. Otherwise, there’s no compelling reason to stop in here.“

“I can only echo what Leighton’s already written. I stopped in here out of sheer boredom and wasn’t impressed. There’s a couple of random Brains beers available plus some stuff from Cottage. “Pretty grand looking Nicholson’s pub located right outside Hammersmith station. Nicely refurbished classic interior. The selection’s actually pretty strong here. There’s 10 beers on cask plus a few other options available on keg. The beer quality was merely OK. The prices are a bit high, but not completely absurd (£3.80 for a 4% beer). Overall, this is a good option if you’re headed to the Hammersmith Apollo or happen to be in the area.“

“Pretty standard ’spoonies located near the Broadway exit of Hammersmith station. Low lighting, sort of claustrophobic. There were maybe 8 beers on cask. The selection wasn’t great. Mostly GK stuff that you can find anywhere. They did have one Itchen Valley beer on. That was as exciting as it got. Really cheap prices considering the central location. Pints of bitter are about £2.60. Overall, any port in a storm. I preferred the Nicholson’s pub next door.“

“The larger and more popular Wetherspoon pub of two in Hammersmith, and closest to the tube stations as well. There are a couple of entrances, the smaller of which is used when bouncers are controlling the flow into this Lloyds Bar part of the chain. It does get more partylike at the weekend although the clientele is very mixed most of the time. The bar stocks the usual set of drinks and ale is served on a couple of pump rows.“
