“Pretty good actually . About 10 pumps and drafts. Cheap place close to the airport.“

“Old pub, very worn around the edges, right across the street from Hounslow West tube stop. Another in the Barras chain, but not anywhere near as nice as the Three Magpies.“

“Right outside the main vehicle gate to Heathrow, easily accessible on foot. Classic British pub, big rough cut timbers from long ago. Fireplace and elegant dining area. Four cask offerings.“

“Beerwise by far the best pub in Hounslow for over 10 years. And one of the cheapest in the country, on Wednesdays it’s £1.75 a pint! Food is cheap and cheerful. Usually between 4-7 guest ales on, often all strong ones which sell well here, as do black beers. Quality usually good partly due to high turnover by loyal regular customers and visitors alike. Local micro breweries such as Twickenham and Windsor & Eton regularly feature. I have updated the opening & closing times which are another good excuse to visit!“

“A short walk away from the main pedestrian shopping area, but still very much under the Heathrow flight path that makes this such a noisy area to frequent. This Wetherspoon pub is not the biggest but it’s quite quiet during the daytime so suffices - the bingo hall next door probably gets busier at times. The decor is ordinary for this chain but comfortable with its mix of wood furnishings, carpets and comfy seating. Ale is on a couple of rows of pumps at the bar.“

“A classic 19th century Fuller’s back-street local, on the corner of the eponymous Cross Lances Road and with its own darts and pool teams. Friendly staff, and Fuller’s ales - including London Pride, ESB and seasonals - in excellent condition. Regular live music, and an outdoor seating area. The TVs can be a bit intrusive though.“

“A typical London ’Spoons, the ale is generally very well kept, the food is the usual not particularly inspired but good value JDW range. It’s a bit scruffy, but the ambiance is OK and the staff friendly (though there’s not always enough of them!). There’s not many places to get decent real ale is Hounslow, but this is one of the best - and it’s certainly the cheapest and has the best range. Oh, and they have an off-licence, so if you want to take-away a £1.99 bottle of Rogue American Amber, you can.“

“A classic Wetherspoons pub, staff very friendly and a good well kept selection of ales. The decor is getting a bit shabby but that’s not too much of a worry. I regard it as a safe pub because even when there is a bit of bother in the neighbouring pubs I have never seen any trouble there.“
