82 /100 576 COMMERCIAL ROAD Nice, retro looking place. |
76 /100 576 COMMERCIAL ROAD Visited a few times in early 2017 when it was handy for a post meeting beer from Westferry Circus. Trad street corner local with a retro refit as per a few of the other CBC's making a smart and warm environment. Ususal CBC selection of keg and cask with the usual overlap on other branches but I've always picked up a few winners on my 3 or 4 visits here. Staff are friendly and service prompt. Not a go to bar but the best in a mile or so's radius. |
62 /100 Grapes (Greene King) (Bar) 76 NARROW STREET A lovely old unspoiled gem in London. Brown and quite small. Nothing is in shape. Lovely view of The river Thames upstairs. Sadly enough not a good beer selection. But they do have some cask ale. So you might find a tick or two. Especially foreigners like me. A walk from here along the river is absolutely recommendable. You will defiantly find another gem or two. Especially when you get to Wapping. Also possible to have a nice lunch here |
78 /100 576 COMMERCIAL ROAD Strange looking addition to the chain, it comes across as 60's retro rather than the bare brick usually seen. Same excellent selection, pricing was reasonable. Excellent location across the road from the station entrance. |
82 /100 576 COMMERCIAL ROAD Very handily placed a minute from Limehouse DLR station. Style is modern, Swedish, attractive. Decent selection, mostly keg with a few cask lines. Service was fine, was a quietish Sunday lunchtime whern I visited. |
76 /100 576 COMMERCIAL ROAD Latest addition to the Craft Beer Co family. This place sits literally 10 steps form the Limehouse DLR station, so really convenient location. Interior is quite different from the average CBC establishment (which would normally showcase a traditional pub feel) as this is clearly looking at a more modern / smart / hipster look. Selection is what you could expect in any CBC, with strong London and UK representation, and some US/Scandinavian gems, mostly. Prices are in-line with other CBCs, service is well informed and attentive. Overall, not much to make this unique in the CBC portfolio (is excluding the decor) but certainly it taps a very different geographical area. |
82 /100 576 COMMERCIAL ROAD Nice place. Not so busy when we visited but it was at opening on a Saturday. Smaller than some of the other branches but has a bit of charm to it. Very close to the station. Worth a visit. |
82 /100 576 COMMERCIAL ROAD Visited on 19th December 2016 on our way to a sky-high tasting. It’s a corner pub just outside Limehouse station, from the station only to bright, clean window and lights beckoning you toward them has any hint it’s a pub, the branding if around the corner on the main road side. A nice, single roomed venue, nicely decorated in-keeping in the chain’s style. A good mix of cask and keg beers as you’d expect from a CBC venue. Picked up quite a few new beers here. Staff were friendly and enthusiastic about the beer and happy to offer a sample to try before you buy. Prices were fair. It’s a good addition to the CBC portfolio. |
76 /100 576 COMMERCIAL ROAD Decent new outlet of the Craft Beer Co - somewhat odd in Limehouse, neither in walking distance of The City nor Canary Wharf. Yet well done, just next to the DLR station. Decent offering - not their biggest branch. |
