“Visited 11.07.19. Station pub near the kissing statue at the upper level. Six hand pumps, but only three were on at my visit. All were theee were pale, citrusy ales. Also some kegs, including from Camden Town.“

“Visited Feb '19 before catching the Eurostar to Lille. This is a big Wetherspoons in the style of an airport lounge. There is a long curved bar in the top left hand corner with around a dozen hand pulls giving the normal suspects plus some guest beers. The prices for beer are very high for a Spoons, highest we have ever seen, the food seems to be at normal prices. It is clean and tidy, looking very new at present and the bar was tended efficiently and professionally.“

“Huge pub with high stools, located at the north end of St Pancras International,, by the escalators up to the Southeastern High Speed platforms. It has entrances from within the station and on Pancras Road. There are some decorative wooden casks adorning the roof rafters. A single room pub all on one level with a gently curving bar counter. We had a bitter from Portobello, Star, good finish of a long day. Visited 6/1/19“

“We had lunch here before moving to Wembley for the football match between Tottenham and Manchester United. Rather busy place early on Sunday afternoon. Good range of Shepherd Neame beers on cask, keg and bottles. Decent food and polite service. A well established corner pub just off Euston Rd, and fairly close to Euston Station. (Visited with Per, Leif and Magne 13.01.2019).“

“Visited 2/9/2018. Surprisingly good selection available from wide range of London breweries with many smaller ones featured. Some from outside London too. Well positioned for a stock up of bottles/cans pre-train or for a drink before hand. Worth a visit for either or both reasons if at St. Pancras.“

MI + ME (Bar)
UPPER TERRACE, ST PANCRAS STATION
“More of a restaurant than a bar. It’s on the upper level of the station, in the corner near the statue. They have tables “outside” with parasols and heaters. They serve British meats and cheeses (at a price) and have eight or nine beers on offer. The service was friendly but slow. OK for a bite to eat but for drinks I’d recommend the Betjeman Arms, which is close by. (Visited 17 May 2017).“

“This is a rather typical train station stop for quick food except there is a huge selection of bottled beer in fridges. Also three craft beers on tap for something to get while waiting for a train. Service seemed decent. Bottle selection is why you'd stop here, surprisingly good selection of craft beers from the London area.“

“Visited 19/4/2018. Traditional London corner pub. Not a very exciting selection beer wise, nothing adventurous in cask though do have an ok selection of their own bottles. So not for a beer ticker but based on what it offers the local market, with decent food available and very friendly service it's not a bad place to pop into.“

“Visited for a pre-London Drinker beer fest beer and certainly better than having stood in the queue for an hour. Reasonably good range of SN beers available. Decent atmosphere inside and the outside on street bench seating is nice if you can get a seat - the road being not particularly busy. Prices as you'd expect for where it is. Service fine. Have visited a couple of times now and worth popping in to if passing close by.“

60 /100 UNIT 53, ST PANCRAS INTERNATIONAL STATION,
“Visited on 17 May 2017. By no means a beer destination but pretty decent as far as station bars go. Six handpumps included Adnams, Stod Fold and Wimbledon (I forget what the others were). Also a few "craft" kegs of the more commonplace variety. Just had time for a swift half before catching a train so didn’t linger long enough to get more than a fleeting impression.“

“Close to and on the opposite side of the concourse to where you enter for the Thameslink services, this is an open plan store which spills out into the public area with its tables and chairs for those that wish to consume the many different items of Produce sold here. The beers are specifically in one corner on a sets of shelves and in fridges. There’s a decent selection here from most of the hip new craft brewers in London, but ones from the north such as Magic Rock are well represented here too. They’re not too cheap in price, but give its location this is not unsurprising. If you have time and prefer something from a tap they have some very similar choices available.“

“A good, honest Young’s pub between Kings Cross and Holborn. Traditional interior and furnishings. Well kept Young’s and guest ales poured by a friendly landlord of some twenty years standing with a good team around him. Archetypal pub food menu, but the specials are exactly that, prepared with a great deal of thought and imagination. Conversation is king at the Calthorpe, and most evenings you will find a number of regular ’characters’ at the bar, whilst a TV at the rear predominantly shows subtitled news with no sound. A lovely stop for dinner and a pint on the walk or cycle ride down to Clerkenwell!“

“Having worked out of Grays Inn Road for 8 years, it’s a shame I never went in here once during that time. Finally visited in 2016 to find a traditional pub with plenty of ambiance and cosy soft furnishings including a tartan carpet. Although it’s worth coming to this single room corner pub for the aforementioned, its beer selection is disappointing, with only the regular Youngs ales available on my visit, although I did find something new from the same brewers keg offerings in here.“

“Pleasant enough Shepherd Neame bar, although its location close to some of the major stations means it has a chain-bar styling to it. It’s not as nice as some other pubs run by this brewer, but the durable traditional fixtures and fittings probably means its easier to keep this place clean and fresh in appearance. Its a corner pub a block south of the Euston Road and you’ll find Shepherd Neame ales in both cask and keg along its bar, which has two sides to it as there’s a part wall separating the service area.“

62 /100 UNIT 53, ST PANCRAS INTERNATIONAL STATION,
“In the Upper concourse of St Pancras, there’s doors from both the inside and its outside, the former at the top of the large set of steps out front. It feels like a compact chain pub, with a good selection of cask and keg options along its bar. Certainly handy if you have a wait for a train, there’s also an outdoor area on the atmospheric inside of the station in what is a very quiet area of St Pancras.“

Wine Pantry (Beer Store)
GRAND TERRACE, ST PANCRAS STATION
“This place is on the upper concourse in St Pancras, but had changed its name when I sought it out in 2016. Mostly wine, you’ll find a few beers available, but they’re probably not worth the detour.“

“Noisy with muzak. They have moved the bar so as to be closer to the terrace bar which is the evening hangout so drinkers may prefer the bar. Service was swift and courteous by London standards. Barman born in this century if looks were a guide. Went fir Trumans draft one of six on offer plus 9 tap and Camden Notting Hill bottles. You can get a cheeseburger for £12.95 today. The poet rotates quietly somewhere“

“Visited on a couple of occasions, most recently on 10/09/16. Always a useful place to buy decent beer and food as part of a journey, but will also drop in if I am n the area. Yesterday was the first time I’d stayed in there. The staff warned me that the Cloudwater DIPA was £8+ a pint, but I was already committed to it (in hindsight not worh it). Really enjoyed my grilles chiabatta. It may be my imagination but did they have fewer beers? Or at least no limited edition Siren beers on? By the way they have two units next to each other - it’s the one on the right that’s the deli.“

“Visited on 22nd August 2016. Just off Euston Road and on a street corner this is a nice looking pub, inside the seating is a little cluttered and the decor is OK. It’s a large open plan place. Had 5 Sheps beers on cask plus a couple of keg offerings, had a pint of the Goldings Summer beer which was in good condition, maybe not to my taste. Prices are steep at £4.35 for a pint. Go to the Euston tap with beer 60-70p cheaper and much better unless you have a real hankering for Kentish beer.“

“New review on 5th Feb 2016. Following a refurbishment a new bar with 3 taps on the left hand side added. In a rush but looked like a Camden and Wild beer offering on 2 of the taps. Always worth a look in as has a decent range of mostly London based offerings on tap. The range has diversified a little with Siren and a few others appearing on the shelves. Maybe a little pricey but really handy to grab a decent beer to keep thirst at bay on the train. “

“2015-09-25. Beer selection was just okay, with a handful of Shepherd Neame casks - they own the pub. We found a cozy booth in the corner after clearing away some leftover glassware from the previous residents. It was quite busy at around 6:00 on a Friday with both the after work crowd and the rugby world cup on the TV. The decor is almost a stereotypical British pub from a North American perspective from the carpeting to the wall coverings. It’s nice enough, likely more so during quieter hours, but the beer selection is limited from a beer geek perspective. You will likely visit due to proximity to Euston and King’s Cross station.“

“Traditional Youngs pub between Kings Cross & Holborn. Definitely a boozer feel, which is no bad thing in this area. They have a couple of guest beers as well as the Youngs staples so could be worth a look if you’re passing. Beers have always been in good shape when I’ve popped in. However, if I were in the area (or new to the area) and particularly wanted Youngs beers I’d tend to head for the Lamb, which isn’t far away.“

“Located towards the East Midlands Railway end of the St Pancras complex on the basement level. Upmarket gourmet food and drink emporia with sit down option. Taken in context - at a main railway station - this place offers a great selection of London area micro brews and prices (again for a mainline station) are reasonable. Service was good, I was offered help whilst browsing, tho’ turned the offer down so can’t comment on staff knowledge! Well worth popping to if you ever head under the chunnel or to the East Midlands. Only gripe ... It doesn’t open in time for the first Brussels departure on a Saturday morning (0757) !!!UPDATED REVIEW 13/03/15. Range has expanded a little, A good 7 or 8 Siren beers on offer, more from Weird Beard than before, maybe a little less Kernel, but only by the odd bottle perhaps. Touch pricey compared to other Clondon bottle shops, usually a last stop for me.“

“Long standing CAMRA entrant and old school Youngs pub, the Calthorpe Arms is located on the Grays Inn Rd between Kings X and Farringdon. Trad English pub with a local feel, a little off the tourist trap. Cask beers always in decent nick but lacking in choice, just Wells and Youngs standards and seasonals. No reason to seek this venue out but if you’re walking past (Queens Head to Bottle Dog or Craft Clerkenwell) no harm to pop in. “

“A useful for picking up some bottles if you’re passing though St Pancras station. There are also a few tables that you can drink/eat at if you have a bit of time to kill. The beer range is decent, with plenty from London-area brewers often including some of the rarer stuff. Being quite central, unlike some of the better beer shops, it can be a good starting point for grabbing those. As others have pointed out, proces are not the cheapest but I guess you wouldn’t expect them to be given the location and main focus (i.e. trippers and travellers)“

“Decent side-street boozer found between St Pancras and Euston. Fairly ordinary but there’s some grade A mock-period (read: tacky) wallpaper. This place can get very busy, but it was lively without being packed on my last visit. Only Shepherd Neame on the five cask handpumps, but it’s served to perfection. SN’s more decent bottles such as their IPA are also on offer. Decent enough.“

“Shop/snackbar in St. Pancras station. Went there whilst waiting for the Eurostar. Small, yet decent selection of London microbrews like Brew By Numbers, Partizan, The Kernel, Weird Beard ... Prices were a bit high, as is expected in London (but still somewhat higher than other places in town). Not a must stop, but worthwhile to visit when in the area.“

“I’ve been traveling through St Pancras for years and only visited this place for the first time today. The selection of bottled beers focuses on London craft breweries: London Fields, Kernel, Fourpure, Pressure Drop, Brew By Numbers, Partizan... drink in before/after your train journey or take away for a reduced price. Function trumps style, but this is a welcome addition. Nice snacks as well. UPDATE January 2017: Yes they do have draught beer now, but the selection is pretty basic. Nonetheless it’s an added option for drinking in or growleration, and their bottle selection remains as good as ever.“

“We (Me, dad &’Barry) visited here on Wednesday 26th March 2014 en route to Cologne via a night stopover in Brussels travelling by Eurostar. We entered St Pancras International from across the road at Kings Cross and via the large newer glass section of building at the rear of the original impressive older station building, Sourced Market could be found on the left hand side on a corner as you turned onto the main concourse and headed back towards the old building & Eurostar. The beer section (shelves and fridges) were on the RH side you could pick up a bottle & find a seat & drink it in the cafe or take it away prices were typically ~£4 ish to drink in per bottle ~£3 to take away depending on bottle of course. The choice was mostly London Micros with Brixton, Pressure Drop, Kernel & many others all on display. A great little find, staff v.friendly, I will return.“

“Very small place in the middle of St. pancras station. A couple shelves worth of beer plus a fridge. Good selection of London and UK micro. Some stuff I could hardly get otherwise in town make a trip sometimes worth it. Not sure how to rate service as the guys were busy slicing and selling mortadella. Prices are way higher than other bottle shops in London, with e.g. Partizan pales at £1 more than the brewery / Utobeer / Oddbins. Still good for few selected harder to find items.“
