72 /100 Beer + Burger Willesden (Bar) 88 WALM LANE Visited 11.02.24 while staying at an AirBnb place nearby. Very close to Willesden Green Tube Station. A well-selected 20 beers on keg, of which 19 are modern craft beers. Also a large selection of bottles and cans. A bit chilly inside in mid-February. Quick service, also for burgers. A fine place to drip by for a burger and a beer, or a beer alone, but not to stay for the evening.

94 /100 Beer + Burger Willesden (Bar) 88 WALM LANE As ever an expertly curated selection of beers. |
70 /100 Beer + Burger Willesden (Bar) 88 WALM LANE Not a bad selection of beers, unfortunately on my visit none were from Project 88 which has a link with this venue. Burgers were fine just very unadventurous. |
80 /100 Beer + Burger Willesden (Bar) 88 WALM LANE A modern diner-type bar that has 20 taps and some draft ciders as well as a fridge wall for the hunters. Bottle prices seemed steep, tap beer prices were normal for London. I found lots of ticks on tap, in that regard this place is excellent. Very helpful and nice service, and the food, although being served in a rather simple way, is very good for what it is. Recommended if you are in the area. |
80 /100 Beer + Burger Willesden (Bar) 88 WALM LANE A modern bar, simply furnished and sparsely decorated, with an excellent beer list of around 22 beers plus several fridges full of bottles. They also do very good burgers.

84 /100 Beer + Burger Willesden (Bar) 88 WALM LANE Beer and Burgers had been on hitlist for some time, however if in London on a Friday night we usually like to visit Ang’, Moncada so never quite make it until this time Friday 7th April 2017. We parked up Frank at Peploe Road, which we regard as our second home in London and we walked the 15-20 minutes to get here. For anyone heading here it is on Walm Lane the A407 and is almost diagonally opposite Willesden Green Station which is on the Jubilee line, I should also imagine that there would also be plenty of buses that ply routes around here. From the outside it is mostly glass, and for a short time after we’d eaten we sat at the front watching folk heading home or heading out for a few beers. Inside it is a long rectangular shaped place with a one entire wall at the front end of the place given over to fridges rammed with cans and bottles and arranged by style. There is some seating here on the right hand side but there is more seating beyond here and opposite the taps and cooking area, I would suggest that the back of the establishment is mainly for those wishing to eat and the front for those wishing to just sit and nurse a beer or two. The decor follows a well trodden route now so expect concrete floors and industrial sheets of plyboard put to good use. The beer choice was impressive with twenty beers and ciders on tap and a few hundred bottles and cans in the fridges. The taps were represented by the likes of Wiper and True, Arbor, Thornbridge, London Beer Factory, Howling Hops and Newton Court cider and offered a very good and diverse range of styles. The food (burgers) were excellent, really impressive we had a double cheese burger with cheese and chips, gravy and deep fried Jalapeño. Prices were fair, food especially so, I thought that the bottles were a little on the high side, but they were cheaper if you wanted to take out. We really liked it here and stayed all evening, the staff were attentive, enthusiastic and very friendly. |
82 /100 Beer + Burger Willesden (Bar) 88 WALM LANE Fun place serving burgers and beer. Burgers are definitely of the dirty rather than gourmet variety, but tasty, fries were ok. The food side could just do with adding something extra to make it stand out. Beer tap selection was great, good range of breweries and styles which you don’t always see. Bottle range huge, but if they were prices chalked next to the bottles then the prices are laughably high (not the only London bar with that issue). Good new spot! |
54 /100 Beer + Burger Willesden (Bar) 88 WALM LANE Two nights in a row charged price for 2/3rds when serving a half.
Barman blew his nose then failed to wash hands before offering to serve me |
96 /100 Beer + Burger Willesden (Bar) 88 WALM LANE Best craft beer bar in North West London and the burgers are incredible. Huge selection in the fridges and ever changing tap list. Can’t recommend enough |
