“Traditional cosy multi-roomed pub with a focus on food, although there's pleasant seating in front of the bar, which sports four or five regular cask ales from the Marston family of beers. There's some outdoor seating next to a red telephone box on its premises.“

“Traditional stone pub on the main road through Dobcross with exposed brickwork although modern and fresh on the inside. Three local cask ales are the better options than its macro keg, although regular for the area. This is a food pub with only a small impersonal drinking area in front of the bar, and if you are eating here then it's advisable to book.“

“This is a lovely community pub in the village square and has 3 separate rooms going off the main bar area. Good selection of ales from the Marston’s range and I enjoyed my Marston’s Saddle Bank in the outside seating suntrap area.“

“Busy family run pub close to the canal with an open plan bar and L shaped interior and a suntrap of a garden. We enjoyed Millstone Tiger Rut, Millstone Stout and Taylor Landlord here.“
