“Lively venue with conservatory restaurant, lounge bar & separate bar where sporting events are screened. A covered patio overlooks the Rochdale canal. Choices of 3 different locally brewed ales“

“Visible from Mills Hill station, this pub is just below the road junction to its east. This is a JW Lees pub so serves its own ales, with a fairly large selection that will include the latest seasonal cask offering. It’s a plush enough pub with two rooms separated by a central service area with a decent sized bar on each side. The front room next to the car park is more for serious drinking, with the larger and slightly more attractive rear one set up to be more diner friendly as food is served here.“

“Useful for Mills Hill station which it is very close to, this JW Lees pub is in a lovely building of its own slightly set back from the main road but still unmissable if you are on it. It’s a two room affair and both are fairly large and equally as comfortable as each other in a relaxed and traditional manner. There’s lots of space and it’s a very friendly place to sup JW Lees ales. The bar extends into both rooms and there’s a couple of cask ale pumps in both rooms that carry different brews from Lees on each so you’ll have to check both sides if you want a wider choice. They carry the seasonal and special brews here alongside the regular bitters.“
