56 /100 Cotswold Vintners (Beer Store) 29 HIGH STREET Small convenience store in Chipping Sodbury. A few local beers here, maybe around 50 or so. Not the best of places, but I managed to find some new beers here, so I’m happy. |

76 /100 Cotswold Vintners (Beer Store) 29 HIGH STREET Off-licence on Chipping Sodbury High Street, that has been steadily increasing its range of beers and ciders in the bottle, to the point it is getting impressive, exceeding 150 in total. This includes rarely seen ciders from Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, and the specials from Sharps, plus the best beers from Moor, Arbor and Bristol Beer Factory. Also very good for the local offerings from Great Western and Cotswold Spring. It doubles up as the local post office and, if you are passing through, is well worth paying a visit. |
72 /100 Horseshoe (Bar) 2 HIGH STREET Friendly, local, pub, that offers a decent range of ales. Seven handpumps were in use when I visited on 14/5/2016, including rarely seen (in this part of the world) offerings from Summerskills and Teignworthy. Patio at the back of the pub was great to use on a warm spring afternoon. Prices were good for the area, and this all added up to the best session I have had in a Chipping Sodbury pub for a long time. |
