“Called into this bar while on a coach trip round Gloucestershire pubs. There was a busy bar area, and 3 ales available, 2 from Young's brewery and Purity Bunny Hop. We chose the Young's Special which was fine.“

“Called into this bar while on a coach trip of pubs in Gloucester and found it to e a very friendly bar serving Purity beers. I had the Bunny Hop, a 3.5% beer which I thought a little pricey at £2.05 a half but the beer itself was fine.“

70 /100 MARKET SQUARE
“Bar in a refurbished inn that has been turned into a small hotel and restaurant. Cask and keg beer offerings all come from Purity. We got to try the cask UBU and Mad Goose while sitting in the very pleasant garden, and both were on excellent form being the best beers of a day spent in the Cotswolds and Gloucester. Staff were friendly and made an effort to ensure we enjoyed our visit. A great contrast to some of the more traditional pubs on Stows Market Square, and well worth visiting.“

66 /100 MARKET PLACE
“Visited on 30/5/2017. Pleasant, traditional, pub situated on the marketplace in one of the Cotswolds most famous market towns. Looks like it manages to strike a balance between locals and tourists, being welcoming to both. As in all Donnington pubs, the choice was limited to their own, but the BB I tried was in good condition and cheap at £2.80 a pint. Service was friendly and efficient. Worth a visit.“

56 /100 MARKET PLACE
“17th Century stone built pub in Stow Market Place, for a tourist town this is a good option to get away from the hordes, although avoiding Morris dancers is another matter. Locals pub with a bit of banter and serving the local beer well. Another good stop after cycling up Stow hill from Oddicombe and only a short cycle ride onwards to the prettiest Brewery in Britain.“
