“The atmosphere is always welcoming and varied, the staff are friendly, knowledgable and always happy to help and let you sample new beers, the bottle shop is a big plus and I honestly can’t think of another pub I’d want to spend my time in.“

“Micropub on the south side of Ramsgate. Decent micropub. Beer range isn't always on the adventurous side. Sometimes I've found the beers to be over vented. Worth a stop for a half pint.“

“Great addition to the scene in central Ramsgate. I loved the vibe in here. Good food made in the open kitchen at the back. Up to 8 beers on tap and some really good bottles in the fridges. Not a huge choice, but very well selected. I sat at the bar chatting to the owner. Good outlet for Time and Tide brewery beers.“

“Such a characterful pub. Great interior living up to the Artillery Arms name. Half a dozen beers on handpull. Good value too. The banter at the bar is always interesting.“

“Decent micropub in the centre of Ramsgate. Normally 4 ales on gravity and some ciders. Normally a good buzz of conversation.“

“Visited on a Saturday afternoon and it had a good selection of Time and Tide brewery beers. Some other real ales. Not worth making a detour to, but worth sticking your head into if passing on your way to The Ravensgate Arms.“

“A classic back street local pub. There are few of these that I want to go to more than this one. Simple L shape layout with a central bar area. Service is efficient and friendly. Gadds Ramsgate Brewery beers feature heavily with some high quality British guest beers. Value is amazingly good. The banter is top notch. I just feel at home here.“

“First visit and they had been running down the draught beer selection waiting for New Year’s Eve so the beer availability and condition were not too great, but the service and what they want to do in the future means that I will definitely be back. The bar is just north of the centre of town on a corner. Central bar with two seating rooms and an off licence behind it. It’s got potential and I will re-rate later. Re-rate now owned by Gadd's of Ramsgate. Good cask and keg line up with select bottles in the fridges.“

“A pleasant bar on the seafront with a broad selection of mainly Belgian beers, though no real rarities for UK. Food menu included seafood & features daily specials. Visted 13 May 2013.“

“Dla mnie zbyt maly wybor piw. Zbyt drobnym drukiem jest tresc napisana na stronie i male fotki. Plusem sa czeste promocje na piwa. Troche drogo i niestety jak to w angielskich sklepach nie wysylaja do Polski, ale przez posrednika koszty znowu skacza do gory.“

“In some ways a bit of a sister pub to La Trappiste in Canterbury - the owners are family, and the bottled beer selection is almost identical. Not many ticks for someone who’s sought out Belgian beers for as long as I have, but I still managed to find a couple, as almost everything’s big-ish name stuff. However, for England, this is an unusually broad selection. Slightly scruffy pub, but I don’t mind that in a pub. The owner’s a diamond geyser, he sorted us out with accomodation - we’d come to town without booking anything! The rest of ramsgate, to be honest, looked like a shithole. I think only one other pub looked worth going to, the rest were boom-chi, chrome and flashig like macro swill places, and we didn’t have a chance to get to that other OK looking one. So this would be the first place I’d aim for in town. Very easy to find - just follow the coast. Breakfast at 8am too - magic!“

“I ordered some beers through their web shop. Communication was quick and easy, and in 7 days (including weekend) I had my beers home. Unfortunately some of them were broken. Refunded. It’s more about wines and spirits, but selection of beers is not bad. There are beers from USA, Scotland, England, Iceland, Australia etc. They have also some ciders.“

“Great local for session drinking. Usually has 2 x Ramsgate brewery on tap (gadds) and one less usual beer. The publican is friendly and knows how to keep the beer.“

“I agree with Mr. Bman here, I really like the Artillery. An often changing selection of a good choice of well kept beer. Interesting locals, really great service, even though there is usually only one person behind the bar. A proper boozer. They still do a meat raffle too!“

“Old fashioned pub 5 minutes walk from the center of town. Has 6 ever changing ales on handpull that are always in top condition. You are always going to find one or two beers from The Ramsgate Brewery on in here as well. In my opinion one of the best real ale pubs in Thanet.“
