“Visited on 28th April this is a micropub on the High St around 5 mins from the railway station. Single roomed venue, bar at the back. Decor involves lots of wood and a strange array of items, some with a nautical theme. It's quite an odd, quirky look. Beer is a good range of local, Kentish ale and cider served on gravity. Picked up a couple of new brewery ticks here. Service good, prices good. Decent enough venue and worthy of a look in on way to or from Fuggles or if on limited time but not my favourite of the 3 visited in town.“

“Visited on 28th April 2019. Backstreet pub just over 5 mins walk from the railway station. It's a lovely old building, has several rooms including a cracking snug, the decor is traditional pub decor but is really smart and well groomed. A great mix of cask and keg beers on tap with several local ciders also. Beer well kept, well priced and the service was excellent. The pub also serves food which looked good value but we moved on so didn't partake. Definitely worthy of a visit and it's a nice walk through the park by the river to get to the Fuggles cafe. Recommended.“

“Visited on 28th April 2019. Large single roomed bar at the top end of the town just over 10 mins walk from the station. It's a smart looking place, bottles on shelves on the right as you walk in, bar a little further on and plenty of seating. Beer range is excellent with a good mix of cask and keg from all over the UK and Europe. I picked up several new ticks here, prices are good, service excellent. The grilled cheese sandwiches are also superb if you need a snack. Overall the best place in town and one to definitely check out if in the area. It's an excellent venue.“

“Spacy bar, modern decor and jazz in the background. Only about six casks, two of which were cider, but plenty of keg taps and a varied can and bottle menu. Food is sandwiches and chacuterie. Good place!“

“Welcome addition to Tonbridge which hasn't been good for beer. Airy single room with big front plate glass windows. Half a dozen cask handpumps and 16 taps with plenty of fridges full of bottles and cans, some to take away. I spent a happy Saturday lunchtime and afternoon here going through the beer list. Plenty of interesting stuff.“

“A large pub trying to be everything for everyone. Good, cheap food, fruit machines and a great range of beer though occasionally a bit samey. I fancied a stout or porter and there were no dark beers among 8 or 9 choices of cask ale. I was fortunate to visit when they had a mini Thornbridge festival going on, the Jaipur was excellent. (2012) Just as well I visited when I did as you won't find me dead in a Wetherspoon's pub now.“

“A JD Wetherspoon on the main high street. Very spacious with 8 different ales on many from breweries in Sussex and Kent. Well worth a visit.“
