“We came here before opening, owner was nice enough to open, pour beers and lets us sit out back. Looked neat inside. Small. Lots of IPA’s but a few other styles too.“

“Fusion tapas/noodle bar deep in the heart of vapid Boca. We've been hitting brewpubs in adjacent towns, but this was the first okay tap list we've seen without having to cab 20 minutes out of town. Cheap-ish eats that are something other than Italian, local taps plus some more in bottles. Ambiance is a little clubby, dark with interesting lighting, but there was no techno music. Prices are average for the area at $6-7. Don't expect too much insight on the beers, but maybe someone there knows. It wasn't crowded outside of prime time. Bookmarked.“

“Hard to see but it's there in this little industrial park; limited parking. Old wood, lots of TV's, 90s nostalgia, a cute old bulldog mascot that just loves on people. Mismatcjed chairs with table rounds. Dominoes, Exploding cats, some other games. Backyard looks like ass, stay inside. 16-ish taps. A mix between classic straight IPAs & German syles, with a couple kettle sours, Belgian-inspired & flavored ales. No food. Lots of events. Flights are a really good value here. You can get 4 for $10, or go up to 6 for $12 or so. Pint prices were high for the area at $7-8. Beers are iffy to good. Lagers are clean, sours aren't battery acid. Cheers.“

“Very clean lookin', dark wood-interior place. Nice staff, very family-like atmosphere. The beerlist was about a dozen taps and a handfull of bottles. No guests. All there beers are Belgian styles, and would be concidered 'average' in BE, even though the quality of all 4 I tried is nothing less than perfect. The're just not very exiting to me ( perhaps since I drink these type of beers way to much ? ) . Some variants showed their american creativity ( strawberry chocolate quad isn't something you'd easely find in Belgium ). Prices are very correct. Some board games to keep you buisy. Nice place, especially if you like BE styles and live around, this is a good one to go to ! Foodtruck before the door“

“big store, with a more-than-decent selection of beers. Some discount beers ( nothing too interesting between them ) , the Obvious selection of macro's, but also a good amount of crafts and very nice imports I wish I could get in Belgium. Even found an Ice Cider, so that will make any day a good day ! Honest prices ( I assume they're fixed within every total wine? ) and helpfull service. Not very beergeeky in it's totality, more like a drinks-supermarket with a great beerselection.“

“Fancy neighborhood, with a less fancy lookin' bar ( I guess they wanted to make it look more 'German' than the fancy Florida style ) Service was decent, the beers, not so much. Some stale flavors from the tapbeers, and simply not so much nice quality beers. Bigger brands, mediocer-at-best imports, and 1 or 2 interesting beers. The place itself can hold a lot of people. it seems more like a volume-drinkin' place than where to discover and savour a beer. At least they did do flights, but I had a hard time finishing any of the 4. Prices were honest, and service was friendly.“

“very big place, that looks very 'fancy industrial'. A metal-plated bar ( Industrial ) as well as blue-themed lights ( fancy) . This place has a lot of taps, but no true beerpassion, I recon. out of the 120 (?) taps they had, only about 2 were of intrest. picture a lot of macro's ( bud, stella, .. ) some mediocer craft beers ( the less exiting stuff from the likes of sam adams, siërra Nevada,..) . luckily, there was also a J.Wakefield La Nada . Service was very friendly, and i cannot blame them not being beer experts ( I,m not saying they aren't though, just 'replying ' to previous ratings ) since the place seems to specialize in beer, wine, cocktails, liquors, and food. You can simply not be an expert in everything. I don't see places like this scoring extremely high in any of the categories, since they have to devide their attention and specialization between way to much. On the other hand, it's a decent stop, and could be a nice solution if you're with a group of people that has different intrests.“

“What a find. Unassuming little Micro in an industrial park. They serve all classic Belgian styles, and they are spot on. 4 4 on. Samples for 10$. Friendly service. Over all, very nice“

“Don’t let the industrial complex fool you. Once you step inside you won’t know where you are. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Cozy Belgim bar feel. A nice selection of house brews. There focus is Belgian, so don’t come expecting IPA’s. Close to the freeway and well worth the visit.“

“Visited after work on a Wednesday. Relatively small grocery for the area, the beer selection is small and does not offer much selection. They did have Cigar City Maduro and Jai Alai, which is a (small) step up from the typical grocery selection in Boca.

58 = ★½ (Local place tickers only)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“Visited after work on a Wednesday. As the name suggests, this is really just a fancy Publix. All areas of the store have been improved, more to go food options, artisanal offering in every department but one - the beer. They only carry major distribution beers with no locals. This is a nicer version of a Publix, and that’s it.

52 = ★ (Borderline whether this should be on the site)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“Visited later evening on a Wednesday. Located in a strip mall just south of the original Funky Buddha. Patio set up in the parking lot, not sure if this is for the World Cup only or a regular feature. The interior is Dark pub, greasy smelling. The crowd is regulars; loud and tipsy. Good service. Not a huge beer selection maybe 8 draft 20 bottles. I had a saltwater IPA.

64 = ★★ (Just ok)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“Visited for dinner on a Wednesday night. Nice sidewalk patio as you walk up, interior is a cool quasi pirate theme. 12 seat bar with dinner tables throughout. Noisy, fun crowd. 6 beers on tap, 3 of which were New Belgium (they appeared to have had a event). Maybe 40 bottles. Creative drink and food menu. Everything looked great, the spicy tuna chop chop I had was great. Service solid was solid, fun place - though not strictly a beer destination.

70 = ★★½ (Locals should check it out, visitors with extended time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“Visited later on a Tuesday. Mostly standard Whole Foods lineup, though they seemed to have more local craft then the other South Florida Whole Foods I have been to. They had an OK single lineup which included several Cigar City beers.

“Located in a nicer strip mall in the Town Center development. This location is of the huge Total Wine variety, similar to their store in Fort Lauderdale on Cordova Road. The beer selection is primarily stored warn in the back left corner of the store. As with the Fort Lauderdale location, their is an enormous single selection, more or less every beer is featured as a single, with six packs located directly below the single which is a setup I enjoy. Craft, import and seasonal are all broken out. Solid store, certainly one of the best I have visited in the area.

76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“Yard House is a corporate restaurant with a huge selection of bottles and drafts. They also have decent food but nothing overwhelming. The selection of beer is decently priced. Service is hit or miss. When they are not busy it is pretty good. When they are busy service is not too hot. Some servers know beer, others don’t have a clue. Overall the place is open late and you can get good beer. But I’d rather go to a local pub.“

“Typical Whole Foods ambiance with lots of concrete and utter disorganization as to where anything is. The beer selection is decent with some obvious national and Belgian Craft labels but curiously lacking in local stuff. I did have an employee ask if I needed help which was very unusual for a Whole Foods but otherwise it’s nothing special.“

“Huge selection of American and European beers alike. Beer guy was very friendly, going out of his way to find me the last 6-pack of Sculpin that was hiding in the back fridges. It’s a warehouse atmosphere, but who cares? I want bottles in good shape, and lots of them, and that’s exactly what they have.“

“I agree with msantes statement that this is not a beer destination. But it is a cool, fun place with some good beer, great food and a super amazing staff. The food is clearly the reason to go here although the bar is nice too. Four of us shared several plates, small and large and all were great. From the fried rice to the pork belly and tuna plate, all we’re delicious. We even shared a burger and it was awesome. Great desserts too. Totally worth more than a visit.“

“I have to disagree with the last reviewer. They did have some cigar city releases. I bought a bomber in fact. Typical total wine set up although this one had way more liquor than you typically see since this south florida. The beer selection was the typical total wine selecton and brands, (Flying Fish, Laughing Dog, Clown Shoes) You could probably do much worse around here.“

“First off I would not classify this place as a beer destination even though they sell craft beer. About 7 taps with their own house beer made by Cigar City. Decent bottle selection. What makes this place special is the food. Same owners as Charm City Burgers. This place definitely had a hipster vibe with no signage outside and a very eclectic menu. Had the burger which was awesome. Great popcorn on the bar as well. What was a real pleasant surprise was the great service. Probably not the most knowledgeable beerwise, but the best service I have receive at a bar in a long time. Worth a stop for a great dinner and a couple of beers.“

“Good selection and what was suprising to me was that here not all goodies were sold out as in other bottle shops I visited in Florida. Maybe not too many beer geeks around to empty the shelves. Staff didn’t seem to be much beer oriented, more there to handle the cash register.“

“This Whole Foods is huge, like a Whole Foods Superstore, and in what looks like a fairly new area. Inside looks nice and clean with a big selection of the typical Whole Foods product. Lots of seating to eat on premise. The wine selection is big and they have the cheeses and such that come with other WF. But since this is a beer website, it’s important to note that I found their beer selection to be mediocre at best. I just wasn’t too impressed. It wasn’t easy to find either. I found their large wine area and assumed it would be close by but the beer is on the other side of the store. Anyway, beats the hell out of the grocery store for sure but just thought they’d have a little more.“

“I think once you’ve been to one or two Total Wine’s you’ve pretty much seen them all. There were no surprises with this one. Pretty good selection, especially singles, low prices that undercut the little guy, and little in the way of customer service. I will say, however, the person at the checkout was very friendly, which I don’t always get at T-Wines. Sometimes they are down right grumpy. If you know what you want or just want to browse for yourself, this is a good stop. I actually found a couple of things I was surprised to find. But I also prefer to buy from the "little guy" although I’m not sure such place exists in this area.“
