“A combination bar and bottle shop with an impressive selection. 69 taps with custom flights of 4 for $8++, very reasonably priced. Taplist is solid, but is shy of anything overly special / rare. Super friendly service. A gem in this part of the state and worth stopping at.“

“Visited here for dinner while in the area for business in mid September 2015. Small comfortable place, nothing fancy. Has about 70 beers on tap and dozens of bottles as well. Several dozen that I had not rated yet - rare these days. A few rare ones, lots of locals. Food was standard pub grub, this place should not call itself a gastropub. I had a grouper sandwich and it was decent, but was expecting meat plates, artisan cheeses and interesting sandwich combinations. Friendly, prompt staff, you could tell they cater to locals, everybody knew everybody, but I was treated just fine. A great place to catch a game and a few Florida ticks.“

“A good sized bottle shop and tap room in a strip mall, this unassuming place is a definite hidden gem. tons of taps and room this place has a well curated selection of bottles and taps with flights available and a staff that knows their stuff. Rare tap nights and bottle releases means you need to check the website first as it may change your plans. A must in my book.“

“Lots of micro local taps including a couple flights worth of real interesting ones. Staff understands craft beer. Bottle selection was good but would have liked more locals.“

“Nice place, and nice to see Chris dedicates about ten tap for Florida brewers. He’s got a pretty good cross section of west coast, midwest, east coast and foreign, with a few I’ve never had. Food is pretty good, try the pork belly appetizer.“

“I don’t know how you can call yourself a gastropub these days and serve Bud, Miller, and Coors. They have 8-10 BMC beers on tap. There are 65 beers on tap so you can easily find something to enjoy but there is a lot of meh. I’ve been there a few times since it opened and many of the beers aren’t moving, probably because they can support about 50 patrons. As for the food, I tried a few burgers during my visit, the grind made of 50/50 short rib and bacon was meh. I love bacon but many items on the menu have bacon like the chef is a one trick pony. Items on the menu ranged from $10-16. Sweet potato fries were my favorite item and they were solid. I’ve been here 3 times and have no plans to go back.“

“Nice place tucked in a little strip mall, just off US-1 on the way to Jensen Beach. Pretty much a wide open bar area with a bunch of to-go beers lining the walls. Also a small selection of hot sauces and stuff like that. Brent knows his stuff. Like 69 taps, so always at least a few good ones. Wide variety of singles to buy. Couple knocks against these guys though. No pricing anywhere on any beers, to go, or on tap, which is quite annoying. Also saw a few hoppy IPA that I would have liked, but they were 6 months old (per stamped on date). That was disappointing. Probably go down the street to Total Wine if you want something fresh. But a great place to relax with a quality tap!“

“Decent little spot in Jensen Beach, FL. Interaction with the staff was great. I was greeted warmly each time we came in and they were quick to recommend and highlight a few bottles for me. Good selection of FL beers which is what I wanted in the first place. 69 taps with some good locals as well. Overall, it wasn’t the best selection I’ve seen but it’s quite extensive for that area. I went twice during my short visit. This would definitely be one of my regular spots if I lived there.“

“Update: The menu has been expanded & the tap list is even more rock solid. Brent has come a long way over the last 2 years. I don’t even know if the "Picky Gourmet" portion of the house is still functioning. There’s a wall lined with hot sauces and various pickled vegetables, but that’s about it for that side of the business. The taps were flowing with interesting beers. I could have purchased a growler fill if I had wanted. The service was pretty quick considering there was a decent crowd and only one bartender/salesperson. Knowledgeable guy, too, Brent. Large selection of warm and cold bottles. I bought seven bottles of Cigar City Dos Costas Oeste and received a nice discount because I purchased six or more. The food wasn’t good, but that’s not at all what this place is all about. A couple flat screens, so I was able to watch the Heat beat the shit out of the Cavs. Nice selection of hot sauces and such. I’ll be back.“

“It’s our favorite spot. 33 taps, a ton of bottles and good food if you need something to sober up! The facility is growing and has added more taps recently and has only gotten better. Most of the reviews are from a time when he only had 12 or so taps. Now there are a ton of different beers and always a variety from wheat beers to imperial stouts. It is entirely family owned an operated almost all the time by the owner Brent himself. His father helps and he has recently needed to add some staff I would think because of the growth in the past 2 months or so. Brent is always very nice and knowledgable. We refer to it simply as Brent’s place amongst my friends. We like Vine and Barley, the Palm City version more than the St. Lucie West version, but prefer the selection we find at house of brews and the option to get a pretzel or some thing to accompany my beer. The over 300 bottles of beer are fun to look at and buy. He carries a small selection of home-brew kits and other beer related items as well. If you are into beer, this is worth trip. It will quickly become one of your favorites. “

“Family owned and operated, this place is awesome!!! They recently installed about 24 new taps to take their tap total to about 36. Excellent selections on tap and in bottles, knowledgable staff and a clean, friendly environment. Decent bar food...try the kielbasa on a pretzel bun! I would recommend this place to any beer lover.“

“Great place for bottle and beer drafts. Continually rotating taps. Family owned and operated. Everyone is knowledgable about all the beers they feature. Beer/wine tasting and beer events. Limited food menu that is perfect for bar munchies. Great service everytime we’re there. Definitely a place to check out if you’re a beer lover!“

“Large space with lots of tables surrounded by a couple walls of bottles and some gourmet food aisles. Small wine selection. A few taps (expanding soon) with beer to go in growlers or on premise by the glass. They try to keep local FL stuff on tap ( Swamp Head, CCB, Tequesta, Dunedin) and also feature other stuff from across the country. Definitely worth a stop if in town.“

“The plaza they are in is really small and looks rather new to boot. Less than a mile from the Treasure Coast Square Mall it is pretty easy to find just east of US 1 off Jensen Beach Blvd. Inside is a very nice and clean space. Gourmet foods to the right (with a killer hot sauce selection) and bottled beer to the left. And right in front of you a good sized bar that looks like it can seat probably 12 – 15 people. There we 12 taps and I was happy to see that 11 of them were Florida breweries with beers from Cigar City, Tequesta, Swamp Head and Dunedin. Brent, the owner, is a great guy with a great vision in the place. They offer half and even quarter pints of the draft beers so that you can try to sample a number of the offerings. An awesome complimentary snack mix (more bars need this). They plan to have growlers shortly and even want to have home brewing supplies in the future as well.“

“The beer selection is pretty solid and getting bigger. The selection of Cigar City beers is the best in the area. Brent is always looking for new beers. If you buy 6+ beers, he usually gives a disc. Also, he is willing to do special orders. This store includes wine and gourmet food products. This store is expanding into a new section within the same plaza within a month or so.“

“This is a pretty neat place. It’s just a little off the beaten path (US-1), but it is worth finding. They had a few beers I haven’t seen around South Florida, and when I mentioned I was a beer snob, Brent hipped me to some cases of Hopslam he had for the esoterics that came through the door. Add a growler section to the place and I’d bet word would spread fast. It appears they have a nice selection of gourmet foods and some wines, which I didn’t really go through, so it’s definitely worth a stop. Update 7/30/2013: First time I visited since the installation of 32 taps of some really good stuff. Brent really likes his beers and has a lot of knowledge, as well as good ins to getting some nice draft beers. Bottle selection, though not as large as Total Wine, has some hard to find stuff. Keep up the good work Brent!“
