| 84 /100 OUNDLE WHARF, STATION ROAD, “The score on here is for the whole Nene experience. We started in the Tap & Kitchen which is an amazing bar and restaurant in a barn of a place. It is set up with the bar on one side and dining on the other. The bar area has high seating tables and stools.There are 10 keg taps and 8 cask which had 6 beers and a cider on yesterday. A notice said 4 thirds for £6 so tried 3 Nene brewery cask ales and 1 keg. They were placed in a small wooden box with the beer names entered on the side. All good. A door leads out to the wharf with outside seating, and it is a short walk to the brewery shop with fridges full of bottles and cans of their Nene Valley beers plus a few casks with gravity dispense. Well worth a visit.“ |
| 72 /100 OUNDLE WHARF, STATION ROAD, “Visited on a Saturday afternoon. The brewery has two parts, bar and restaurant, and a shop including a selection of taps. The bar was very busy, restaurant almost empty, but we went to the shop. It had 7 of there beers on with a decent selection of bottles. Really nice place. Next time might try the bar for food.“ |
