66 /100 Green Dragon (Bar) LUDLOW ROAD Tried as a stop off on journey from Newport to Liverpool. Nice enough selection and very busy for food on the evening I was there. Eye valley and Ludlow beers clun as a guest. Certainly better than a services on the m6, which was the other option. |
66 /100 Green Dragon (Bar) LUDLOW ROAD Small country gastro-pub in Little Stretton (near Church Stretton), Shropshire ideally situated close to loads of walking & mountain biking routes in the surrounding Lond Mynd / Shropshire Hills to quench your thirst on your return. Very much a traditional English feel with around 5 or 6 middle of the road cask ale bitters and blondes and 4 ciders on tap. Expect Wye Valley, Bass, Ludlow Brewing etc.. very pintworthy stuff and not particularly exciting, but perhaps the best option in the area in terms of tap selection. I did spot Leffe on draft too. Food menu looked pretty decent, but we didn't partake this time. |
