“I visited with Margie on the afternoon of 9th January 2024, just two customers, us! Three hand-pulls and about eight keg lager lines. A few bottles of well known No Alcohol or lagers/ciders; nothing new for a seasoned ratebeerian. The actual place is done out nicely, if a little 'for the younger generation', centre stage is a gas fire/forge with swing chairs around it, old Italian scooters provide table ends in some areas, other tables and chairs an option. This is the fourth Albert's Shed I know of, nice concept overall, but they are not designed to attract 70 years old's in flat caps, they are aimed at the younger set.“

“Visited Saturday night, probably not the best time tbh. Lots of young 'uns getting 'on it' pre club. An oddly soulless location on the outside of a shopping centre. Around 6 on cask some of which can be found anywhere. The half I sampled wasn't in the best condition.“

“A welcome addition to the new £250m Southwater development at the Telford town centre. A live music venue and a drinking hole. Been here a few times now after visiting the cinema and bingo! (RIP Mecca) Nice ambience and quirky décor, and a fairly decent selection of beer. Don't forget to take a selfie on the swing by the fire pit for your Instagram!“

“A lot of fuss being made about this place, hailed as Telford's first dedicated live music venue, something long-needed for an area this big. And while it is a live music venue, it is arguably more of a bar, building on the Shrewsbury Albert's Shed industrial decor, with all manner of interesting touches, such as the Thai moped tables, and in the centre of the room a gas fireplace bar surrounded by swings suspended from the ceiling. Of course, on this windy, rainy Monday evening we had to sit here. No bands playing either. Beer wise, expect the usual array of mainstream lagers taking pride of place, with a couple of cask, around 4 mainstream 'craft' pale ales and around 15 craft cans from the likes of Polly's and Left Handed Giant. It's easy to be overwhelmed by the plethora of big family chain pubs, Wetherspoons and KFC / Burger Kings that surround Telford's many roundabouts, so it's some relief that it finally has an independent bar worth visiting.“

“Generic Weatherspoons, you know what you're in for, decent selection of drinks, but a 'pre-club' stop for party goers so avoid on weekend nights.“

“Facing into a small square of small shops, which seems to be an afterthought for the larger big brands shopping mall that the pub occupies a unit of, it had a pleasant enough atmosphere on the afternoon of my visit, with the usual collection of daily drinkers coupled with shoppers taking a break for food. This pub in the chain is a very large single room affair with plenty of seating throughout. The long bar on the right includes two rows of real ale pumps, and my visit coincided with one of their beer festivals so they included a full as it can get choice of these.“

“Wetherspoons in 'down town' Telford. Serves shoppers and office workers during the day and pre-club goers in the evening. Usual Wetherspoon highlights and problems: cheap with a decent selection of cask, keg and bottles, not enough staff. I only added this because it's hidden away and anyone wanting a pint when in the Telford shopping centre might not know it exists.“
