Paid a few visits this past month. Super busy pub with large rectangular central bar that fills up quickly during peak times. Local brews on tap like Young Masters, HK Beer Co & Gwei-Lo. Import beers fill the remaining lines. Pub is British in execution, with large dining space with tables and booths. Food focus is heavy and particularly known for its pies, which are delicious. Attentive staff and overall good experience.
Visited in November 2015. This was the biggest of the bars that I visited in Hong Kong. Crowded and noisy on a Friday night. The selection was good, both locals and from other countries. The service was decent.
The main feel is of a busy restaurant, but with a long bar and focus on beer. A bit noisy and lacking in character. Friendly, but initially slow, probably because they were busy with many diners. Over ten pumps and pages of bottles - must be a couple of hundred. Pumps are mainly HK beers which was excellent as I had not yet sampled an HK beer. Food was excellent which was just as well at the price (bangers and mash for AUD40). I guess the same goes for the place generally - expensive but reasonable VFM. I’ll definitely be back
I visit this place whenever I pass by HK. The atmosphere is nice at any time and the selection is very good either on tap or bottle. Recommendable for those that visit central HK and want a good brew in a nice place.
