I am an avid craft beer and wine enthusiast. I won’t shop in a store that doesn’t allow me to carry my purse. This store is sexist. Men are allowed to carry wallets. The "bouncer" at the front counter acts as though all female customers are there to shoplift! I am the general manager of a retail store (a much bigger retail store, with far more expensive merchandise) and was absolutely flabbergasted at the way that I was treated. The polar opposite of customer service. I will never EVER shop here again (in fact, I didn’t "shop" here this time. I walked out...). DON’T SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! *I would have given this store zero stars, but one is the minimum.
nice and clean place(new location), but prices are ridiculous for rarer beers. also, they try the gimmick of having only one rare each on the shelf so it makes it look like you are getting the last one. person working register if vague about if they have more in the back(many of the beers have been out of productions for months or years), telling me "they get them in from time to time". translation-they hide them until one is sold, then then bring out another one. if you are looking for some rares and dont mind the double or triple markup, treat yourself.
Decent bottle selection in a store with mainly liquor and wine. Found some retired bottles I wasn’t expecting (bells batch 9000 and stone 14th anniv) and some that had been long sold out elsewhere. Beyond that, many of the typical crafts that you’d find at total wine. Good selection of Cigar City’s including recent rare ones. Worth a stop just to see what random ticks they have.
Place is a Luekens type of bottle shop, actually I can’t remember if they don’t warehouse some of the beers for the Tpa/Oldsmar locations. In terms of atmosphere, well, a warehouse like store, maybe that counts.
Bottle selection is nice, in the back of the store, mainly liquor and wines.
Visited a few times, but never saw anything that other stores did not have, maybe some price difference depending on the products. Find the usual suspects plus some harder to get beers, worth the visit if in the area.
Great place, very similar to Leukens, but a bit pricier. They have a selection of vintage beers behind the counter, but one of them is Squall. They are very clean and well-lit with a great selection of new and vintage beers. They had some hard-to-find Belgians and some great English beers, as well as a great selection of American craft stuff. Very similar to Leukens, but some different stuff and older bottles mixed in. Worth the trip.
Wow, the location of this place is messed up here on ratebeer. It is at the NW corner of Gunn and Lynn. Solid selection of beer and loads of quantity stored in this warehouse like atmosphere. As with anyplace be wary of styles that are not meant for aging. I usual don’t fall victim to this but here I did. This place is always worth a visit if you’re in the area with their solid selection and good pricing. I need to head back here soon.
A very solid beer selection and reasonable prices. In the rear coolers. Facing the coolers as well as in the back half of the center aisle are a fine selection of Belgian and American microbrew. Plenty of the best of each--Weyerbacher, Stone, North Coast, etc.--along with a good variety of Abbeys and en lambics. Best in Citrus Park area by far.
Visited in early December, 2009. Nice store, very clean but no one but me and the staff person were in the shop on this particular day. Beer selection was good to excellent for the area. They carry most of what the other Leukens stores carry, and there were some vintage beers available as well. American craft and imports each have their own end-cap, and there are a bunch of coolers with even more beers inside. Singles and 4/6 packs are available plus a lot of beers in a warm section near the coolers. This shop is definitely worth a stop when in the area.

The ambiance is a typical liquor store, yet very new and clean. They will not separate six packs other than what is in the coolers which thankfully is 80% of what they sell. The bottle selection is the best in north Tampa, surpassing Total and ABC. They have everything from hard liquor and wine to cigars. In the beer department they have micro and macro and even a few hard to find imports. The prices are average to a little high. Overall a great selection of beer and if you don’t mind buying in six packs (not a lot of bulk sizes like Total) it beats Total and ABC.
