The hotel was our base for discovering Zoigl. Decent place with a distinct 1970’s feel. Very friendly hosts.
After arriving we first went to the restaurant to have our first glass of Zoigl. The house Zoigl is brewed by Binner. It was in excelent condition, very flavourful and refreshing. Turned out to be one of the best we would taste.
The restaurant is decent and service is friendly. Good base for exploring the environment!
Visited on 15th July 2017. Stayed in the hotel whilst sampling the local zoigl. It’s very 70s decor, there’s a really popular restaurant and bar area that closes early. As we were residents I asked about the zoigl in the morning and got presented with a free beer. Excellent! It was a solid kellerbier, staff happy to chat about the beer. Definitely worth a look in and it’s about the only hotel in town so stay if you can.
The Hotell in Windischeschenbach with their own Zoigl. God food and promt service. Clean and fine rooms. Didn’t see any other beers than the Zoigl but that lasted during the dinner. The beer was very friendlyl priced. Typical german interior with solid wood furniture and small windows to give a husk inside.
A cosy, but also rather quiet place, family run to the degree where Herr Enders greets you atthe reception, serves your beer all evening (if you just knock on the door to the private room), and serves breakfastthe next day. The zoigl is one of the best
Having visited two other places selling Zoiglbier in the village this was a bit dissappointing but I suspect because it was very quiet and compared to the others there was no atmosphere. Nevertheless like the others the bier is individual to the brewer there so a should go to taste his version. BTW 20-30 minute walk from the station.

a hotel in the heart of Windischeschenbach with small rooms and a stube downstairs pouring Binner Zoiglbier. some times closed for a week or two for staff vacation (mostly in winter).
Hotel and restaurant in the very centre of Windischeschenbach. Not a lot of people in the Zoiglstube but Herr Endred and a man from Cuxhaven proved very good company. From the three Zoigls I have tried I liked this one best - delicious with a powerful character. I will definitely retrun and stay the night there.
