Tucked away in a shopping district downtown. It’s quite a surprise how nice it is: feels like a proper bar despite the location. Live music some evenings. Service is jovial, customers are good fun. Thirty or so beers on tap, including one on cask. The beer comes from Florida mostly, but big names around the US (Prairie, Sixpoint, New Belgium) also make an appearance. The choice, both quality and quantity, is excellent. I could’ve spent all night here.
This is my speed. Great vibe in here. Not too hippy or hipster, but laid back and accommodating. Service is not extraordinarily attentive. And not remarkably patient either. Flights are available and they have very quickly rotating taps of some legendary and up and coming breweries. I like it a lot.
Not a bad place. The guy with the long hair behind the bar is pretty quick and friendly. The lady with the tattoos is a bit abrasive seems to favor other people at the bar rather than those that stand in the service line. They seem to be the only ones in the place.
I always get a funky metallic taste to my beers except for the cask brews. I’ve made mention of it and I just looked at like I have a second head.
Pretty decent selection of beers that can’t be found at any of the other bars/breweries in downtown.
Music is always fun here and the BBQ upstairs is pretty great.
Good selection of beers, nicely labeled on the chalk board and easy to read, service was fine every time i’ve been there. Nice outside courtyard with local bands, don’t think there is food served, but plenty of eateries very close, hopefully we get more of these places opening downtown!!
Interesting, the highest rating about this place was the ambiance. Umm, what? There is no ambiance, it’s a stripped down beer bar. It’s specialty is beer. They rotate often. They have rare releases. They don’t need no stinking bottles. Some of these rates are just unfair. By far the best craft beer bar in St. Petersburg, and we have quite a few now.
