Definitely a world class place. Really good food, solid service, awesome draft list filled with tons of Pacific Northwest rarities. Best place I've found in Seattle so far (and Seattle has some great stuff).
Updating to bump the service score given that I went here on a barleywine night when they were really busy and never was beerless. Spectacular place.
Second stop of the last day, supposed to be our lunch but wife did not like the food. The inside is kind of dark and dreary, honestly, interesting decor and we found a table under a large skylight, which helped a bit. Pretty extensive bottle list with half pours available; I didn't ask about flights. Bottle list was nice, but not a lot of whale spearing to be done, unfortunately. Extremely solid service. I was pretty happy with the mussels.
Top notch selection and great service. The food was awesome, too. Tons of taps covering all the styles but even if youc an’t find anything on draught to suite your needs, the bottle list is on point. I don’t have anything to add that others haven’t already said. Good beer. Good service. Good food. Worth going out of your way for.
Bit of a journey but fantastic place. Impressive beer selection and very nice food guarantee good time there. Highly recommended

A "traditional-style" Belgian place (with lots of Metal music) in Fremont (is that right?). Amazing taplist, with lots of good Belgians (not interesting for the European tourist), many locals and semi-locals and some top-notch Cider. Food is great (unfortunately, they were out of Stoofvlees when I was there, I would have loved to compare). Fast and nice service, some beers are a bit pricy, but I suppose that’s only fair for what they are. Great bottle list as well (with even pricier beers). Overall a real gem of beer gastronomy.
Visited June 9/16. At least a dozen Belgian taps, including De La Senne and De Proef, a big list of west coast US crafts, and a wall full of bottles, makes Brouwer’s Cafe a place worth planning a vacation around! There’s even a Manniken Pis by the front door to add to the Brussels vibe. I went for a 5% Bellingham Chuckanut Alt Bier, part lager, part amber, rather nutty in taste, a super session beer. Followed up with a 4.6% Scuttlebutt Homeport Blonde from Everett, a robust taste for its low alcohol content, with a lingering smooth hoppy aftertaste. Oh yes, the food: a chipotle-mayo Lamb Burger and some of the best tasting frites I’ve ever had. Yummy Plus!
