In the door around half five on the first Wednesday in July 2017. Open industrial space with a lot of exposed brick. Young crowd in, but only about half full. Music, at a good volume, is slightly louder than the hum of the crowd, while not obscuring localized sound. Beers are good. One of the stronger stops in the area.
Walked over after visiting Rogue (hit Cascade the other day - amazing how many are just within walking distance in PDX). Large building - downside, not air conditioned, and it was 96 degrees. Had a flight of 4 and all very solid sours ...

Large warehouse space that also serves as The Commons’ production site. At least a dozen beers were on tap, all of which were much better than average. I appreciated the focus on low-ABV old world styles. Staff were exceedingly friendly and quite knowledgeable. The food was limited but really tasty - the bread and cheese platter was nearly as memorable as the beer. Overall, I’d say that this might have been the best brewery visit I made in Portland. Well executed beers, comfortable digs, and tasty snacks equated to a few hours well spent.
Visited as our first beer stop in Portland. Large and spacious place with a warehouse atmosphere. Selection consists of a good array of their beers, among them many spiced/herbed beers, some of which were good, some of which were a bit mediocre. Flights available and friendly service. Worth a stop.
