Located in the quiet (in the summer) and charming university quarter of the city, this modern, stylish venue with a biergarten has an impressive selection (20 taps, more bottles) of decent local and good international beers. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and fair prices - also for the food, which looked good, but which I did not try. Flights of any four beers on tap are available for CHF 15. I would definitely like to come back again.
Came here on 8.1.2019. Small beer bar in the center of Zürich. Very simple furniture and decoration, not bad. Small, dark bar with 10 chairs. 16 beers on tap, wide variety of beers: Augustiner Edelstoff, a Russian NEIPA (Zagovar: Stop N Go), Swiss and Italian Craft beers and even an Alesmith Speedway Stout will be on tap soon. A fridge with a few Belgium beers on the other side of the room. Service was attentive and overall a pleasant experience.
Very steep but not too long walk from the centre of Zürich. Very modern slick almost Scandinavian interior, modern wood. Weird music choice, lots of smooth sexy music playing like Barry White. Dunno what is up with that. Plenty of people dining, ramen seemed very popular. About 20 taps swiss craft & some international European names. No heavy hitters and plenty of the beers we tried were rather weak, so yeah ticks but not great. 15 CHF for a flight of 4 smaller than usual samples is okay deal in Zürich. Prices on tap are yolo steep but not the worst given this being Zürich. Decent but not great but still possibly best place in town. Friendly & efficient service. Only one small fridge with some lambiek but they are affiliated with the beer store next door which has a far more impressive selection. I see a note from a different review about them pushing tipping when you pay by card yes but I saw this in plenty of places in Zürich so that is a discussion not unique to this place.

There is alot to like about this space. A good size with a nice patio. Comfortable vibe with some games to play. Untappd screen so you know what you are drinking and you can check ahead of time. Well curated and interesting list of beers. Had a very nice conversation with the barman and can say the service is great and they are beer geek friendly. One of the few places to offer flights, good wifi and of course the mandatory high prices. My only gripe about this place is the tipping on card payments. I love Europe for its non tipping culture and it kills me when places decide to the push the envelope in the absolute wrong direction. Update - An owner took the time to write me a message explaining the tipping option. Although I still find it a pain, I do appreciate when people care enough to read reviews and attempt to make things right. Kudos to the owners.
When I was drinking beer, a bug was came into my glass and drifting on beers. I showed them but they said bugs are protien so why don't you take out bug and continue drinking? Eventually they gave me new beer as same amount as remained beer, but their words word makes me upset. How about saying bug invasion into glass is customer's falut and it cannot be refund? Then I will accept and drink another beer. It was so bad sevice and I got upset remaing trips.
