Narrow but long place in the heart of Fountain Square. Long bar area but limited seating in front (more in back). Meads, ciders, and mixed mead/cider drinks available. A must stop for the mead lover - otherwise, not so much.
Small, long and narrow place, modern decor. Long countertop bar and some tables. Servers very friendly and knew their products. We did a taster flight of six very small (one ounce?) pours: three ciders which were passable and thee meads which were very tasty. Pricey for the serving size. Lots of mixed drinks on offer. Nice enough stop if you don’t mind the hipsters.
What a cool spot. Very hip and urban. Never been to a meadery and cider place before. Wonderful service and prices. They had a rare mead on tap when I was there. Really awesome place. Wonderful mead and cider.
A very trendy artsy tasting bar. Very community oriented and friendly. Their own stuff, but not a lot is in very often. Call ahead to find out what they have. The meads were ok, but nothing special for me.
Parking lot and street parking. Clean small renovated building on corner. Bar on back wall. Small couch and table area in front and on the side. Friendly staff with good service. Selection of 4 meads as samples or 2 bottles. Small snack plates available. Enjoyed the quick visit and will go back.
Stopped in on an early saturday evening. Parking lot behind the building was about half full when I got there, and stayed about the same during my visit. Most seats inside were taken, so I ended up standing at the bar. Very modern decor. The staff was friendly and kept checking on me throughout my visit. I ordered the meat and cheese tray, which had three meats and three cheeses of pretty high quality. This is a pretty nice tray to order to go with the cider and mead samplers. The variety of meads and ciders offered were pretty diverse, but unfortunately they only had 9 available which wasn’t enough to fill the two 6 glass samplers I ordered. That’s alright though, I was able to get three extra samples of my favorite offering. I’ll definitely stop in here next time I’m in town.
Really cool place. There was some dude working who seemed more interested in chatting up a couple young girls rather than explaining the meads to me me and my lady, but the taste made up for the lack of service. I would gladly go back next time I’m in Indy.
