COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This nostalgic beer specialty, which can be confidently ranked among the traditional old Bavarian beers, is brewed in commemoration of the good old times and in honor of the brewery’s founder, Johann Liebhard. The special feature of the “Kellerbier” is the fine yeasty cloudiness and the pleasantly bitter taste. As it is bottled unfiltered, many of the natural protein, yeast and hop elements remain contained in the beer. It consequently retains its original character and the beer connoisseur can appreciate the fullness of taste that this very drinkable beer offers. Furthermore, the vitamin and mineral-rich yeast also provides a significant contribution to the nutritional requirements of good health. 11.8°

Bottle from SinH4, many thanks Stefan! Pours slightly unclear golden with a beautiful, frothy, white head. Initially a big doughy with corn flakes and a light hint of honey. Some floral, grassy hops with a light bitter finish. Easy drinkable.

0.5l bottle. Slightly hazy golden body with a white head. You have every basic element of a beer showcased in this one. Doughy yeast, bready, grainy malts and floral hops. Some hay and honey too. The finish has a nice floral hop bite to it. Great example of the style. I like it a lot.

Clear dark yellow, proper head. Aroma is boring, some herbs, honey notes. High carbonation, low body, taste is typical lager, ok.

corkyrory66 (2516) - BELGIUM - NOV 6, 2017
Dommage.(7/3/6/3/13)
