canadani (8) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 16, 2019 does not count
UPDATED: JUN 16, 2019 Very pleasant IPA - one of my favourites - pushehs all the right buttons. Hats off to our friends in BC - they deserve to succeed. An excellent value - to note and return to.

the_beergery (566) - - APR 3, 2019
UPDATED: APR 3, 2019 500 ml can from the local supermarket. Appearance is an initially hazy dark gold pour, slowly becoming almost clear as the sediment settles, topped with a big head of whitish froth. Aroma is dank, pine and resin, with a faint whiff of citrus fruit. Taste is piney bitter, some caramel as it warms, with just the slightest hint of fruit, but almost no sweetness in the intense bitter.Medium bodied, maintains mouthfeel and consistency well.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2019 355ml can. Crystal clear, amber colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, fairly lacing, white head. Resinous, piney and citrusy, minimally soapy, hoppy aroma, notes of pine, lemon peel, some orange, mandarine, caramel malty background. Taste is crisp, bitter, resinous, piney and citrusy hoppy, slightly sweet caramel malty basis, notes of pine, lemon peel, orange peel, mandarine; lingering, piney and bitter hoppy finish. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate. Very clean - paradigmatic West Coast IPA.

UM02 (425) - Quebec, CANADA - DEC 25, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 25, 2018 Can. Sweet aroma. The foretaste is fairly bitter but that is followed by a sweetness that is citrus but more like an orange than lemon or lime. Just too sweet for me. Seems common among the high IBU beers that they are more sweet than bitter. While IBU accurately reflects how much hops a beer contains it is not very accurate about how bitter a beer is.

Can. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.
