En general no es una de mis favoritas peruanas, sin embargo para refrescarse en un día extremadamente calurosa es ideal. Grumbo (6527) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2018
Bottle brought back to UK from Peru by Painy, cheers. Pours golden with an amber edge and a small short lasting just off-white head. Aroma of grain and grass. Heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Can in Lima. Small foam, light clear gold. Balanced, sweet macro lager nose. Fairly sweet body, with a bit better balance of flavor than average. Rather drinkable. Bright enough carbonation with a flavorful, sweet base. Rather good for what it is in my opinion. When I was purchasing this can at a supermarket, alongside a number of other Peruvian beers - craft and otherwise - the man in line in front of me expressed interest in the strange bottles. But then told me that he was as curious as I to try them, but that this green one - the Pilsen - would be the best. Well, it ain’t terrible.
