Jerseyislandbeer (2335) - JERSEY - APR 2, 2021UPDATED: APR 2, 2021 Old rating from 2016 - 355ml bottle brought back from NYC. It pours amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of stone fruit, mango, grapefruit, orange, pine, bread & caramel malt. Medium body. Crisp dry moderate bitter finish
Chadhami (615) - - MAR 28, 2021UPDATED: MAR 28, 2021 So this is a very good double ipa. It didn’t blow me away but doubles usually don’t due to overpowering bitterness. This obviously had strong bitter profile but not so bad, also washed down easy for a double.
hershiser2 (6977) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - FEB 27, 2021UPDATED: FEB 27, 2021 Kroger can. I'm sure I've had this before... falls into the 'I think I've already rated it' category, so not even going to look that up. Anyway... Clear medium gold with a small white head. Pine, resin, citrus peel nose. Nice flavor of pine, orange and grapefruit peel, caramel, resin, a bit of spice. Hides the booze.
kwik-lime (3908) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 9, 2020UPDATED: DEC 9, 2020 Can from Sterk Amsterdam. Didn't realise it was 9.5% til I loaded it up here, which says a lot for how well it hides the alcohol. Tonnes of piney hops, sweet malt to balance, a little citrus. This is really good.
ruuurd (1808) - Zutphen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 27, 2020UPDATED: NOV 27, 2020 Clear orange pour with rocky off white head. Bitter but also juicy and sweet, with a dry, piney aftertaste. Nicely balanced, not overly sweet
Fisler (1907) - Bamberg, GERMANY - NOV 15, 2020UPDATED: NOV 15, 2020 Schön hopfig, leicht grasig, Frucht mit dabei, tolle Perlung, harzig, schöner warmer Abgang. Lecker Ding.
jsporrer (1751) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 26, 2020UPDATED: OCT 26, 2020 Pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Moderate aroma of piney hops. Medium slightly oily texture. Smooth with bold resinous piney flavors. Very light bitterness. Finishes smooth with a lingering citrus and piney aftertaste. Hides the alcohol well. Very Enjoyable.
tntracey (262) - Hood River, Oregon, USA - AUG 3, 2020UPDATED: AUG 3, 2020 12 oz can poured into a pint glass. One of three cans included in a twelve can variety pack. Not a bad IPA, but not a great one either. That said, give it a try and see what you think. Cheers...!
scotchzombie (785) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - MAR 8, 2020UPDATED: MAR 8, 2020 Pours clear orange with minimal head. Aroma is sweet caramel and slightly bank. Quite boozy; leans light tangerine sweet. Some mild bitter close. Mildly active. Solid but does not blow me away.
MacNJ (329) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 11, 2020UPDATED: JAN 11, 2020 Poured from a can. Frothy head that thinned out quickly. Nice, golden hue with a hop punch nose - mostly tropical fruits. Very smooth and easy to drink for a big beer. You can tell it’s strong, but the masterful balance of hops and malts show no signs of booze or harshness. Well done. Cheers!
