ANZUShophunter (1269) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAY 25, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 25, 2019 On tap at Brewski, pours near black w/rocky head, aroma a bit smokey & bretty. The roasted malt carries through to the palate w/a touch of cherry. Full body but clean dry finish

Bamsen78 (6545) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 2, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2019 Draught @ You’ll Never Walk Alone, Kolding. Pours cloudy nearly black with stable tan head. Clear aroma of yeast and fruit, with touches of malt. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of hops and coffee and touches of malt, yeast and fruit. Roasty aftertaste with estery and perfumy hints. Creamy mouthfeel. Warming alcohol presence. Very nice.

phaleslu (12529) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 22, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 22, 2019 330 ml bottle. Pours a deep, dark coffee brown, near black, with an inch of tan head that settles into a thick ring and film, leaving trailing lace behind. Notes of dark chocolate, earth, citrus peel, florals, dusty and musty funk, and a bit of rubber. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a bitter, earthy mouthfeel. It’s several years old but drinks like an imperial black IPA.

Black with quick fading head. Aroma is quite fruity and spicy. Lots of yeast. Good body. Flavour is very floral and herbal with a background of slightly burnt bitterness. Interesting twist on a saison.

colui72 (1619) - HONG KONG - DEC 25, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 25, 2018 Pours black, a thin but lasting brow head with great lacing. Aroma of dark malts, caramel, chocolate, spruce. Tastes bitter, burnt caramel, nutty, chocolate, grass and licorice. Full bodied, very thick for this style, soft carbonation and long bitter finish. Atypical saison, closer to a stout, but a great winter beer!

kustie (2004) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 1, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2018 Bottle. Opaque black color with tanned head. Aroma has earthy notes, dark malt, fruits, caramel, chocolate and vanilla. Taste is malty sweet with long quite sweet aftertaste. Flavors of caramel, dark malt, dark chocolate, fruits and some earthly elements. Imperial stout body but fruits, earthy notes and quite high carbonation. A bit strange but tasty.

huineman (933) - Madrid, SPAIN - OCT 15, 2018
341 ml bottle, served in red wine glass. It pours pitch black with some brown highlights, almost no head but a tan ring. Aroma is intense: cocoa, rum, coffee, toast. Soft and velvety, with a warm and boozy body. Really dark, long-lasting finish.
