Flasche (75 cl), mehrere Jahre gelagert (MHD: 2031). - Orangegelb, klar.

My bottle has million pieces floating around. Aroma is very light (like a freshly cleaned stable house) tastes pretty much similar because it is neither strongly acidic nor sour.

Absolutamente recomendable!

DraftDodger (1458) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 10, 2017
Copenhagen 10/6 2017. 75 cl bottle with cork from Vin De Table. Some old Abbey on the label (of course). Pours hazy golden yellow with huge bubbly white head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam. Aroma is lightly sweet but dominated by overpowering very tart sourness. Lemon, citrus and grapefruit. Almost acidic. Strong carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is strong and intense. Light sweetness followed by intense tart sourness. Sour aftertaste and a very dry finish. Just as a Lambic should be. Immensely sour and dry as a Desert. When they say they do not add sugar - I believe them. Not for everyone.

Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow. Aroma is funk, farmhouse, stables, citric. Body is medium, light funky, quite fruity and sweet for a gueuze. Soft fizzy carbonation, almost flat. Dry funky palate. A very solid gueuze!

Clean light orange, slightly murky on second pour. Small head recedes quickly leaving only the thinnest lace. Aroma is mostly tartly citric and slightly pungent, with a musty note growing as the beer warms up. Taste shows firm sourness/tartness (average per style), mellowed enough by slight sweetness. Citric notes are dominant as the smell suggested with lemon and tangerine (am i getting a hint of strawberry?), with slight mustiness showing up in the back (something like salami peel may be the best attempt at depicting it). Light to medium bodied with fine, very gentle crispness. Goes down terribly easy with a surprisingly mellow finish given it’s tartness. Overall decently complex and very solid in terms of balance and drinkability. Well done
