UPDATED: AUG 7, 2021 Fairly hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat nicely and shows a zillion bubbles rising from the bottom - very nice. Aroma of bright grassy and very herbal hops with some rounded malts and a dash of citrus fruits along with a good deal of sweetness and a dry perfumey finish. Aftertaste shows a lot of bitterness from the alpha acids of the hops with a good balance from rich malts with a nice grapefruity and citrusey hop characteristic with some smooth sweetness at the very end - very well-rounded and showing a lot of flavours throughout that make this nice and pungent but still fairly easy-drinking! Overall, a very nice Imperial-ish IPA that has a great grassy and citrusey characteristic with tons of old school bitterness, but enough sweetness and dryness to make this complex and balanced - a good beer to try and sample! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Rozi's Wine & Liqours in Cleveland, Ohio on 31-July-2021 for US$2,09 sampled in my hotel room here in Wasau, Wisconsin on 06-August-2021. Very nicely balanced with a noticeable malt backbone. Notes of orange citrus and floral/pine hops. Moderately bitter and mild booziness. Smells of citrusy and piney hops alongside a moderately bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly bitter medium-bodied mouthfeel.
