Not as good as I expected given the rave reviews. It's smooth and a little fruity but not very balanced because the hop so overpowers the fruit.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2022 Draft at the Columbus hotel after ordering a couple times and we were actually on time arriving. The beer? Really a nice DIPA that was easy drinking for a bigger ABV. Moderate piney bitterness with some citrus pith. Nice. Zymurgeist2 (4265) - Redwood City, California, USA - DEC 22, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 22, 2021 Can to glass. Pours copper with white head. Aromas of citrus and pine. Moderately high bitterness. Viscous. jgb9348 (9364) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - AUG 7, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 7, 2021 Fairly hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat nicely and shows a zillion bubbles rising from the bottom - very nice. Aroma of bright grassy and very herbal hops with some rounded malts and a dash of citrus fruits along with a good deal of sweetness and a dry perfumey finish. Aftertaste shows a lot of bitterness from the alpha acids of the hops with a good balance from rich malts with a nice grapefruity and citrusey hop characteristic with some smooth sweetness at the very end - very well-rounded and showing a lot of flavours throughout that make this nice and pungent but still fairly easy-drinking! Overall, a very nice Imperial-ish IPA that has a great grassy and citrusey characteristic with tons of old school bitterness, but enough sweetness and dryness to make this complex and balanced - a good beer to try and sample! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Rozi's Wine & Liqours in Cleveland, Ohio on 31-July-2021 for US$2,09 sampled in my hotel room here in Wasau, Wisconsin on 06-August-2021. UPDATED: MAY 5, 2019 Pours hazy apricot amber with a soapy white head that fades slowly. Aroma is citrus and piney hops resolving into a sweet caramel malt. Medium body and carbonation. Very nicely balanced with a noticeable malt backbone. Notes of orange citrus and floral/pine hops. Moderately bitter and mild booziness. Really enjoyable and with a unique balance of flavors. b3shine (11463) - Westfield, Indiana, USA - MAR 16, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 16, 2019 Bottle to snifter, bottled on 03/11/19 and shared with the Mrs (thanks, Jeremy). Looks good; a mostly transparent golden orange with foamy eggshell head. Smells of citrusy and piney hops alongside a moderately bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly bitter medium-bodied mouthfeel. Enjoyable.
