750 ml corked bottle "2011 Vintage Barrel No. 95", opened with moderate ‘pop’ bought at Valentino Chocolatier in Wanchai circa 2014.
Looks: Clear burgundy colour with a thick layer of dirt-like yeast sediments; Near zero head with sparse, residual soapy white foam which fades in 5 seconds; Poor sticky lacing with zero carbonation.
Aroma: Very fragrant red malt, with strong red wine, sherry, red vinegar, red grapes, lactic acid, caramel, barrel, and spices. Rustic and nice!
Taste: Fairly sour red malt, with Balsamic vinegar, strong red wine, sherry, strong yoghurt , alcohol, grape skins, caramel, barrel, spices and lemon. Mellow and complex!
Body: Mid to light body. Watery but slick palate.
Mouth Feel: Strong red maltyness in a watery yet slick background. Powerful yet mellow red wine and sherry hit the stage, dominated by tasty Balsamic vinegar and yoghurt. Nice caramel and grape skins echo throughout, spicy but not funky with lemon and moderate barrel to round. Very tasty!
Hoppiness: No nose, lemon in taste; Bitterness is low for an abrupt, nice sour red malty finish.
After Taste: Fairly dry; Very red winey and easy to mouth.
Comments: If the Caractère Rouge is about fruity wineyness, then this one is pure subtlety in all areas: so red winey and Balsamic without being domineering, and I am glad the aging enhances this one in a big way. A definite winner!
P.S. What a way to celebrate Lunar New Year with my #2300 rating!
Copenhagen 22/12018. 37,5 cl bottle from Øl-handleren in Hørning. Bottle made out to look like some kind of clay bottle. Drawing of whom seems to be the brewmaster Rudi Ghequire sporting a glass of sour beer on the label. Pours clear reddish brown with small bubbly off-white head. Settles as thin patch of foam floating aimlessly around. Aroma has some sweetness but is dominated by strong sourness. Vanilla and fruit sugar meeting sour unripe gooseberries, lemon and sour apples. Acidic and strong. Strong carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by strong and dry sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a little sugary insistence. Finish dry. Very nice sour fellow with a magnificent balance between the fresh sour fruit and the more subdued sweetness. samsomuk (512) - Bridgwater, Somerset, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2018

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2017 Aromat winny, dużo nut octowych, wiśniowych i czerwonych owoców oraz drzewnych nut beczki. W smaku dość mocno kwaśne z kontrą lekkiej słodyczy. W posmaku cierpkie, taniczne. Wysycenie niewielkie. Dość treściwe i zarazem bardzo pijalne. Bardzo dobre piwo.

0.75l bottle vintage 2014. Almost totally clear reddish body with a very thin white head. Aroma of sour cherries, oak, mold and grapes. Taste of sour cherry, oak, tobacco, caramel and vinegar. Bone dry and sour. The aroma has a tiny bit of solvent-like harshness, but the taste is probably the best from all oude bruins I've had. Really nice. tricksta_p (5466) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - DEC 25, 2017

Bottle shared at tasting session. Reddish brown colour, small white lacing. Nose is red wine, a touch of acetic acid. Taste is medium sweetness, some acetic notes, and candied sugar. Those who had more flemish reds than I did said its too sweet, but I liked it like this. klu9 (913) - Kraków, POLAND - DEC 18, 2017
