imdownthepub (25067) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2016Bottled, 330ml, aged 5.75 yrs from Burg Bieren, Ermelo, Netherlands. Dark ruby brown with cream head. This is a particularly rich and smooth beer, there is a palate filling fruitiness, plums and a port wine character. Hints of alcohol but in a really pleasant way, there is also a smooth caramel element. Superb in its aged condition and a lovely beer.
