UPDATED: DEC 29, 2020 I got this beer on-line as some of the were reproduced for 2020. IT pours dark brown with a tan head. Head retention is very good. There are some deep, rich bready aromas with a touch of chocolate in the aroma. There are some caramel elements as well. There are very low banana and clove notes. The bread and the caramel and the dominant flavor. There is low clove with a touch of banana. There are some dark fruits featuring figs and plums. There is a light chocolate element in the background with a hint of cherry. It has a medium full body. The bottle was a bit of a gusher when opened. Overall, plenty of well complex blended flavor. A well done weizenbock.

Bottle courtesy of milsem. Pours hazy dark brown with yellow highlights, small creamy offwhite head that leaves some very sparse trace on the glass while dissiapting. Smell is malty, slightly fruity and slightly earthy with dark bread, caramel, banana, raisins, prunes, leather, moist soil, cloves and lemon zest. Taste is sweet, bitter, very tiny sour, malty, fruity and tiny spicy. Mouthfeel is round, tiny dry, tiny tart, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and tiny sour with caramel, banana and heavy leathery oxidation. Most likely way past its prime given the oxidation. Still drinks ok though.

Pours dark clear amber brown with a dense beige head. N: huge bready aroma, some yeasty goodness too + caramel T: mineral licorice caramel fruity juice... Makes no sense probably but tastes like a mineral english old ale at about 10% alc. Mouthfeel is lively. Aftertaste is la light version of the taste.

750 ml bottle shared with drsordr and Corey. Pours a slightly hazy dark caramel brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have quite a bit of oxidation at this point that works pretty well with the sweet malts, caramel, and fruit character in the beer. I had this a few years back, more in its prime and it was a different beer, I still could drink this, but it is a different beer.
