UPDATED: APR 5, 2019 Særdeles ordinær engelsk øl. Savner fylde og bitterhed. Drukket kold på terrassen, derfor rimelig frisk.

brnandersen (5364) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 13, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 13, 2019 This evening the British parliament has to decide about leaving the EU, so why not have a classical British beer? This oldtimer is canned and has a amber golden colour with a short lived white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, earthy notes and grasses. Sweet fruits. Lightly toasted bread with honey. Taste is sweet. Light to medium body with a soft carbonation. Dry and fruity finish. Clean and classic. Too bad about the Brexit thing, so foolish.

NosirIwont (3057) - Husum, DENMARK - FEB 16, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 16, 2019 Can. 3.6%. Best before 31.08.19. Pours a clear, slightly dull, deep golden/copper, with a creamy, off-white/yellowish head. Great lacing. Mild aroma; sweetish, with fruit, malt, light cardboard, rubber. Flavour is fruity with a hint of malt, and a metallic overtone. Remote hint of cardboard as well. Mild to medium bitter finish. More fruit, light malt, a bit dry. Lingering light spicy note and a lingering light tartness. Palate feels a bit stale. Overall not bad, but pretty boring. 16.02.19.

DraftDodger (2770) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 10, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 10, 2019 Copenhagen 10/1 2018. 50 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Very green can making a point of being an India Pale Ale. Pours clear dark amber with medium-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing. Aroma is malty sweet with some cooked vegetables like cabbage and leeks. Lightly metallic. Light carbonation. Slightly thick texture. Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger, herbal bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter. Finish is semi-dry. This is not an aptly named beer and has not much in common with a IPA. A pretty thin bitter - but that would not look good on the can, I suppose.
