A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

Aroma is dark fruits and soured grapes. Taste is light sweet malts, honey, cherries and red wine cask tannins. Nice balance and depth.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2018 Bottle from Majestic in Calais. Reddish in colour, sour up front with balsamic character, gives way to apple, some caramel, brown sugar. Nice.

A dark brown beer. Sour cherry, brown sugar and balsamic vinegar taste. Defiantly a marmite beer (Love or hate). It's interesting and a pretty good pint.

Tastes like it has expired. Actually found myself looking at the best before date and made this account to comment

Waiting for this to get sour is like waiting for a post-2000 Adam Sandler film to get funny; it never really progressed past a lip quiver. The difference of course is that at least this beer is still good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2018 33cl bottle. Pretty, dark brown pour. Sour cherries, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, oak. Sweet, fruity malt up front with tart vinegar notes on the back end. The sweetness and faint barrel notes give it a port-like aspect that I'm really digging. Glad I bought a four-pack.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2018 Etiket ziet er veel belovend uit maar maakt het bij mij qua smaak niet goed. Smaakt licht zurig naar kersen met een beetje hout/pitten. -backlog de BierApp-

UPDATED: OCT 5, 2018 Bottle sampled at SBWF atvRodenbach mäster class. Short Off White head. Clear golden color. Firm lactic acidity and woody taste.

Clear red beer, thin head. Tangy fruit aroma with caramel. Flavour is only slighty sour. Bready, with apples, sherbert, a touch of dried fruitand some caramel. Nice.
