COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2018 Bottle from Fountainhall Wines. Pours a murky, reddy, woody, brown with a thin beige head that remains as a bubbly lacing. It's not beautiful but that's what these beers look like and it suits. Nose has a sweet cider and sharp vinegar tang with a soft fruit like peach and white marshmallow. There's a bit of fresh chopped wood on the tail. Taste is lighter than I expected and nicely balanced for a Flanders red. It has a tiny touch of candy floss with cola cubes and cherry sherbet making up a trio of confectionary delights. The sourness comes in the guise of cider apple tannins that plays with the sweetness and leaves a warmth in the chest. It's full bodied with a real dry, crisp sparkle. It's a sippers delight. I really enjoyed this one indeed.

Mein Fazit Ein absolut tolles Bier. Volker.

W zapachu nuty pralin, krówek, lekki kwasek. W smaku kwasek, dzikość, winogrona, spore wysycenie, ale takie gładkie, szampanowe.

Bottle. Clear bronze with beige head. The aroma has notes of vinegar, white wine, lots of wood, cherries, some cider. Sour flavor with notes of vinegar, acetone, somewhat acidic, wood, white wine, cherries, cider. Very carbonated, light to medium-bodied. Excellent.

From bottle, this is a dark mahogany pour with a small beige head. Rising carbonation causes the head to swirl a bit in the glass. Big fruity aroma and taste. Sweet but not syrupy. Sour. Delicious. Medium mouthfeel. No real hop bitterness to note, just a nice, wonderful, fruity Flanders red.

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2018 0.33 l bottle, shared with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran. Murky ruby red, small off-white to tan head. Beautiful fruity, sour cherry aroma, funky, cocoa and chocolate. Fruit jam and candy. Strong acidity, very light vinegar. Not so sour on the palate. Toasty and caramel and fruity notes. Vinous. Light vinegar. Fruity finish. Moderate carbonation, medium body.

Vrlo interesantno. Tamno crveno pivo. Mutno. Pjena kao kod dobrog stauta. Čudna kombinacija. Dobra kombinacija. Aroma bogata i složena. Voće, drvo, kvasac, voćni likeri, višnje, borovnice. Karbonizacija slabija. Nikako ne prejaka i dominantna. Nije napadna. Pravi specijalitet. Čista egzotika.
